Scorpio tests...

I see a lot of scorps here talk about "testing" people... (usually when someone is talking about someone they have a romantic interest in).

Question: What are some examples of these tests?

That's hard to say. You have to kinda be more specific.

I "test" when a situation presents itself. It depends on the situation.
The whole testing thing is really not fair. It's a dirty thing to do. I do it without even realizing it and then I justify it by telling myself I'm doing to see if the person will hurt me in the future depending on if they "pass" or not. It's a form of protection. But in the end it still doesn't make it right. There's been many times that I've realized that I was pushing someone to do something to "test" them and I'd become ashamed of myself and quit being a jerk. It's one of my more shameful qualities.

Off the top of my head ... starting a fight over somthing small just to see how a person would react is a test I've done. Basically it's just to push you emotionally to see what we can get away with and reveal a little more of the things that aren't on the surface.

It's really dumb if you ask me but I'm guilty of it 😢

I'm the same way. I do it with aloofness. Sorta sneaky about it too.
But it is a form of manipulation. At least I'm being honest about it.

Actually it's second nature for me to do it. I'm not sure where it comes from but I catch myself doing it alot. Oops!

Seems a bit over analyzing and driving oneself mad for what—?? My point of view, if we know who we are, honest with ourselves, and with others ......who cares about these test. If the scorpio latches on .....well splendid.....we than get to determine if they are worthy of our attention. 😉 We often forget relationships are very two sided. Testing to me, is a form of insecurity and not being able to trust others. I for one don't want to be involved with anyone I cannot trust or someone that cannot trust me. However there is a difference to testing to see if someone is a right match for you .....complete difference and that sounds rather healthy and normal. We all should test to see if someone fits into our mold.

Especially as women .....we spend so much time trying to fit that mold for a man regardless of his sign. I am getting to damn old for that bologna...😛 too set in my ways, its all about me ...dontcha ya know? 😛 hehehe j/k
Bottom line ladies ......we have to believe in ourselves enough and know what we want and not necessairly what he wants.

Scorpio test, Scorpio test!?

I personally hate shallow conversation. I do find delight in listening/ reading to other conversations/ forums (well speed reading). I find it gives me great insight into ppls behaviour. I analyze what they say and try to find out who I am really dealing with. Some ppl say that Scorpios are insecure and that we have trouble trusting ppl. I wouldnt say that. I think we are deep. We live in the recesses. And bottom-line we have a complex- independent thought process.

I get very often: You ask a lot of questions... well ppl answer me. Im not holding a gun to their head. They're free to walk away. I find that I am able to mock ppl(right on), guess someones next move, and know someone v well. I mean when someone needs help too, I am very good at giving advice. Because I read ppl so well. It's like the way a Libra has to balance everything. A Taurus needs comfort and home. Like a Capricon needs job- status, or whatever... I find that I have to know things on the deepest level possible. The "test"- they're not anything personal, it's just our, can I say our? Well as a Scorpio, it's just my nature. Could I change it? Is it not astrology? Was this planted into me due

my childhood? I mean there can be so much to be said. But that can go on forever. But I believe in astrology. I've read the Scorpio traits, and said "Good enough for me. It says investigative, deep, mysterious- it's too much of a coincidence. That's what happened, the stars!"

I know a lot of aqua guys to be honest...just thought about it...I get along with them famously...wouldn't date one though probably because of the lack of emotional display. Still after that elusive taurus..
