Scorpios and Air signs.

ok so we all know about the scorpio gemini thing. highly sexual and intense initial connection followed by turbulent emotional squabbles which can either stabilize the relationship or end it. with the chart skewed in favor of failure.

so what other air signs are scorpios attracted too? i have heard that most water signs are attracted to air signs for their aloofness and tact but that it's generally problematic because of the emotional detachment the water sign can feel from the air sign. maybe the water sign admires thoes qualities in the air sign and wishes they could develop more of thoes qualities themselves. i know in my case i am attracted to the emotional nature of water signs for that reason. even thought it can get a little dramatic for me they help me deal with my emotions better and it just seems like water and air have great sexual chemistry to begin with so yea. scorpios in particular are just plain fun. so im sure often it must be similar from the other side.

so what other air signs is are likley to find a scorpio attracted to them? is there a similar attraction to the gemini scorpio one between any other air signs? is there one perhaps that is less intense but more successful?

any personal experiences would be appreciated.

Shaks is right, My bf is a Double Scorpio with Venus in Sag,. and I'm Aquarian with Scorp rising and Venus in Pisces. Both of us have Aqua in Mercury so we communicate very well. If I didn't have the water in my chart we would not get along. Even after two and a half years into my relationship with my Scorpio we still have a hard time "understanding" each other. We almost broke up bcause of this but it can work if you work at it.

Ha! Astrology newbie here,..his Merc is in Libra.

I have always gotten along really well with Aquas. My mom, son, and 3 past relationships were with Aquas. The one love of my life was an Aqua (our suns trined--go figure-- as well as our moons) but it didn't work out due to his substance abuse problems.

I've also always gotten along very well with Libras. I just find them so charming and smart and love that they bring out a more sociable side of me.

Gems-- another story. I don't understand them. I've had a Gem boss that was the sorriest excuse for a boss imaginable. I've had a Gem professor that I hated with a passion. I had a Gem boyfriend that disappeared on me... I don't have a very high opinion of Gems, can you tell?

My moon is in Libra though, so I do tend to attract the Air signs. Also my Uranus is conjunct Sun in Scorpio.

Well I'm not a Scorpio but have noticed ,most of my Scorpio friends get along best with the Air sign Aquarius. I'm a Cancer, and I can say I usually don't blend well with air signs, but Aquarius are the most emotional, least detached air sign there is and my best friend of 11+ years is one. We compliment each other. The other signs seem to be good to socialize with, but that's where it ends.

Hmm I generally find myself unattracted to air signs. My chart is mostly water and fire, but I have a Gemini rising. Air signs are fun to party with and I love talking to them, but I do not seek them out for long-term relationships and never really envision a "future" with them. I think they are not emotional or stable/grounded enough for me, or maybe I feel that they lack some sort of intense passion.
