My observation is that it works best if the female is Scorpio & the male is Capricorn. He stabilizes her volatility. She enjoys the sex 🙂
It can be embarrassing to see scorp females unable to keep their hands off Cap males....even in church! 😄

It's been said that Caps are one of the few who can out intensify the Scorps (albeit in a less "showy" and low-profile manner). Also one of few true matches when it comes to sex.

For male scorps, female Caps have a calming effect and help prevent then from spinning out of control. The scorp will be a whirlwind while the Cap will be the calm center. I know a few Cap female/Scorp male couples and the males will always go to the females whenever they need to be soothed down. They seem to one of the few who can get the secretive scorp males to open up. Perhaps because Caps are very good at keeping secrets and seldom betray one's trust.

Problem is; getting the Caps to open up. But shouldn't be too hard given that water & earth signs go well together. Both are secretive but both intuitively recognize it in one another.

Shaks:
lol, how can caps do that if they are totally unable to laugh at themselves?

On the contrary, Caps have a very self-deprecating sense of humor. You just have to be one of the few who is lucky enough to be around when it happens. Also, they deliver the jokes in a deadpan, straight-faced manner. And their timing of the delivery is immaculate 🙂 Just last evening, while having a meal, my Cap colleague cracked a joke that was so hilarious that one woman at our table snorted out the coffee she was drinking through her nose!. And then she still couldn't stop laughing 🙂 Needless to say, further hilarity pursued at that sight. Cap guy cracked another joke and a bunch of us almost ruptured our internal organs 'cos we were laughing so hard.

'sides; some of the funniest men happened to be Caps: Jim Carrey, Gary Grant (sigh, they don't make 'em like that anymore). Their humor is subtle, Shaks. I believe you've only been around Caps in a work/business setting; Then, they are dead serious. Hence your perception that Caps can't laugh at themselves.

One of the many ancient symbols of Capricorn is Pan; the God of merry-making. Now there's a fellow who knew how to have (& give) a good time.

So, someonespecial is right. Scorps learn to laugh at themselves through Capricorns. Ever seen the cold, penetrating, stare of a scorpio suddenly light up, turn into delight and then eventually into tears of laughter when a Cap tells them something funny? It's a beautiful thing.

Caps' humor isn't the clownish, laugh-a-minute type you get from Geminis & Saggis (the 'fun' guys). It's more like a dose of reality mixed with sarcasm and dry wit (some might call this dark humor). Their jokes are the kind that make you laugh and then after the laughter has died down, only then you suddenly realize, "Hey, you know, he was right. What he was said was true. How about that?"

Water & fellow Earth signs 'get' these jokes.

Shaks
BeoWulf, what you just described barely has "cap" written all over it, Ive seen exactly the same things with other signs.

If you say so, Shaks. And I know you do.

satori:
ROFLMAO!! oh my gawd! I almost died from laughing so hard.
Maybe y'all missed the Pisces girls on their board recently expressing their dissatisfaction with Cap boys in the sack... yeah, and you actually think you could satisfy a Scorpio girl— HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

This is the 1st I'm hearing about this. Care to provide a link to the particular thread you are talkin' about?

and you actually think you could satisfy a Scorpio girl— HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Hmmm, knowing some of them, I guess you're right. There's no satisfying those hornballs 🙂

MsP:
Are you going to tell me your sign now, Beowulf?

Oh, yes. LOL! I've read some of your posts asking for my sign on the other threads and I just didn't get around to formulating an answer. Ok, here goes:

Ok, the truth about my sign.

Truth is, I don't know what my TRUE sign is. My birth records say I'm a Sagittarius. But my birth family was rather chaotic and many family members say that I wasn't born a Sag but that a relative merely plucked a date out of nowhere and had it written on the birth records. After I was born, I was passed around from one family to another. No one really celebrated my birthdays (even now) and I vaguely recall my last birthday celebration was when I was 7. So I don't know what my true birthday is.

Growing up, I found that I have absolutely NOTHING in common with the Sagitarians....leading me to further believe that--despite what the records say--I am not one. It's also the reason why I almost never post on the Sagi board.

But I'm a firm believer in "Nature vs Nurture". I grew up being surrounded by water & earth signs and I found that I can identify with them as I grew older (Humans tend to ape their surroundings and are influenced by their environment --the Nuture part). Hence I post mostly on the water & earth boards.

So there you have, it. An outsider having insider knowledge of water & earth signs........and learning more along the way.

MsP, you once wrote on another thread that you admire Caps for their humbleness.

Like MsP, I admire Caps for their humbleness and how they always seem to downplay their formidable accomplishments (I'll post more about this 'downplaying' later). My favorite uncle is a Cap and despite the hardships he has endured and the jaw-dropping things he has accomplished, he always has that laidback "Aw, shucks. Twan't nothin' " - attitude that just endears him to others even more. And it's a trait I have noticed among many Capricorns, Pisces, Cancers and Tauruses. They ALWAYS downplay their accomplishments. I have a thing for folks who quietly get things done but never talk about it (hence my Ninja/Special Forces analogy). I also have a thing for folks with an aura of quiet dignity about them (hence my Samurai analogy)

I'm also a big supporter of underdogs (or signs that get picked on or are misunderstood) so that's why I'm usually defending Caps, Pisces or Cancers. My best friend is a Cap & I love him to bits. I don't think I am one though because I'm terrible with ambition and am a great procrastinator. Can't lead either.

I sometimes rag on signs that have a "I'm so cool"-attitude/arrogance because I see that in real life and I love putting them in place. A favorite target is scorpio males and Aries hotheads. Scorp males have that "oooh, I'm a scorp, I'm badazz, Me so cool, me so dangerous" - attitude. So I put them in their places. But I love them anyway because once you have put them down, they seem to respect you more for not backing down from them (I think scorp males secretly love being dominated *chuckles*). Aries guys are easy to wind up and then step back & watch as they 'ram' headfirst into the wall.

But overall, despite being labeled a Sag on my birth records, I just get along well with & identify myself more with earth & water signs. One earth sign that I can't really get along with is Virgo. From them, I have learnt how to observe and analyze things but that's about it; no other similarities. Also, I devoured Sherlock Holmes novels as a kid and have come to appreciate the power of observation/analysis/intuition. Those books have a profound effect on my outlook towards life (Nuture rather than Nature again). Hence my analytical style of posting. I once thought I might be an Aquarius but they seem a little too weird to be me. I also respect Libras & Leos (they're willing to sacrifice a lot for their families). I like daydreaming and being in the water. So, who knows, there might be a bit of fish in me too.

So there you have it; the mystery of Beowulf. A Sag who may or may not be one.

i think you have capricorn and pisces in you, BeoWulf.

Dunno about that, but I'm a great supporter of Pisces/Cap couples. It's magical to see them together...despite the Caps getting ragged on all the time on astrology boards.

Strangely though, Pisces guys don't seem to get along well with Cap guys but Pisces girls seem to get along well Cap girls. And I agree with Sagigoat, the Cap females are more of the 'power behind the throne' types...not unlike scorp females. Since Obama's wife is a Cap, I guess y'all know who's going to be pulling that Leo man's strings now. scorp Hillary has found a kindred spirit, I see. 🙂

OH YEAH! This is true, true and more true. Screw the anti-capricorn people. I think the ones that pick on us the most truly love us ... and thats all I'm going to state about that 🙂

Oh and the ones who love us openly (------------> to the ones who do) and complete within themselves 😄

I sometimes rag on signs that have a "I'm so cool"-attitude/arrogance because I see that in real life and I love putting them in place.

WHAT! hahahaha same here -- I love doing that. Yep, its funny that the same stuff I see on DXP and see in real-life too haahahahaha.

Last week I had to put a Saggie girl (I had no idea she was a Saggie until last week too, she doesn't act like one lol) in her place because she was acting very "out of place". 😉 My Virgo boss even believes that the woman tries to be above everyone else and that I was right on for knocking her down a peg or two 😄 Most Saggies I met don't act like her so its weird because I usually don't have an issue with the archers hahaha but that one in particular is nuts

I wish I knew her sign last year lol, because she tried to get me in trouble so many times. Now that I know her sign I know exactly how to deal with her 😉

And about the sex thing, scorps and caps have AWESOME chemistry, scorps don't always need to be dominated in bed, what's cool about caps is they know how to keep us in line outside the bedroom....plus when caps are comfortable they unleash the BEAST between the sheets...:-0...trust me, I know...lol 😉

caps get a bad rap a lot probably because we don't share with people for sometimes YEARS of knowing them. i can understand how this could be a problem and at the risk of doling out a double standard, i wouldn't want someone to do that to me. caps are not open books, are not the life of the party and certainly are not the type to go around kissing and telling.

some people (read: scorpios) like studying, researching and figuring out what is inside of the capricorn and slowly drawing it out, like a decadent 17,000 course meal with a delicate, rich dessert at the end. i don't mean to brag, but as far as sex is concerned, i've heard the word "best" at least thrice, and it was never after the first, third or eighth time, it usually took longer as we have a habit of constant self-improvement.

we are very well aware of those who like to be dominated and those who like to dominate and can adapt very easily to either scenario if you have the patience for it. trust me, it's worth the wait.
