Im a Scorpio! But maybe don't fit exactly with all the expcted Scorpio behaviors.

Moon in Pisces, Mercury in Sag, Venus in Scorpio, Mars in Leo, Jupiter in Cancer

My way of dealing with breakups is (if I am the one wanting to end it) to try and end it as nicely as humanly possible, cause minimal pain to the other person and stay friends if we can, which is what mostly happens. When I have been on the receiving end I take it really hard for sure and then I tend to try and get them back, ha ha. Luckily that has only been 2 - 3 times. I always want to stay friends with them. The one time I have been properly betrayed by someone, I kind of felt sorry for him and didn't fight back much. I walked away in a lot of pain and tried to just sort my life out. I unfriended him online and that's the one and only time I did it - but he well and truly betrayed me and that's the only time.

In terms of "icing" people out I don't really do that. I have only fully iced ONE person in my life, and that person harmed my child emotionally so he was dead to me after that.

So my question is really to the other Scorpios out there...what is the "icing" about...?

I have just experienced it for the first time...why do you do it?

Is it to forget the person?
Because you are angry?
Trying to hurt them?
Trying to forget?
Because you care?
Because you don't care?
Because the person annoys you?
Because they have ceased to exist for you?

Once you do it do you totally forget the person?

What purpose does it serve?

I don't ice anyone out, even the person who hurt me the most. I'm not very open with people who have hurt me, but I'm always cordial and don't hold grudges
OK GURL YOU ARE NOT A SCORPIO. YOU ARE EVERYTHING BUT A SCORPIO.
fuq
yeah you have to be a LIBRA in SCORPIO clothing
no amount of assholery could extinguish the people pleaser flame in you

you didn't read your How to be a Scorpio ? manual as a kid .. it's too late now

lmao must come with the Libra mom and brother territory!! and my Dad is a super Aqua. airy. but definitely assertive. Aries is my third dominant so I'm pretty forward if someone really pisses me off but direct, not vengeful

I have exactly the same placements as you except my Jupiter is in Virgo. What's your rising sign?

You do ice people out. You just said you did it to one person and it was for a good reason. Maybe you've not had that many good reasons to ice people out. How old are you?

Come back in ten years and you'll have an 'Ice list'!!

I'm 38 😛

My rising sign is Virgo. I actually just did a diferrent chart online and it said my moon is in Aries, not Pisces. Perhaps this diferrence is due to me entering time of birth which I did not put on the first run?

I have honestly only iced out one person, and looking back if he had tried to work it out back then I would probably have done so. The guy spread gossip and lies that hurt my family, especially my child and after that he was totally dead to me. All feeling evaporated but this is the only time I have ever felt like that. The only time I would do it is if someone literally had my hatred and their existence offended me.

I have been dumped, cheated on, divorced, lied to, embezzled by a business partner he saidnd never wanted to ice any of those people out -even when they hurt me pretty badly.

I got iced out on time by a Leo ex, but we ended pretty badly in a storm of arguments where I caught him cheated - I think he had too much pride to take the blame and apologise. Just recently I got iced out by a Scorpio ex where I thought the breakup was pretty amicable and generally mutual so the icing was unexpected. Maybe I hurt him without knowing it or maybe he just wants to never see my ugly face again, ha ha!

Moon in Aries tends to get angry quickly, deal with it, then move on just as quickly. Although the Scorp Sun, Aries Moon, Scorp Venus, Leo Mars that I know will NEVER forget things but he's astute enough to know too much icing isn't good for life. He's 53. My Pisces Moon makes me tolerate far too much shit. I've only iced out a couple of people. Not many. It was required at the time. I don't think we go around icing people over trivial crap.

I think you 'think' you don't ice people out.....but I'm thinking people on the other end of that stick may have a completely different perception of the events.

This might be true for all scorps, all signs...I swore I didnt do certain "scorpio things" , until close friends and family brought certain things to my attention...you probably do ice ppl out and dont even know it lol talk to ppl who REALLY know you and u might be shocked at what they tell you...

I always ice ppl out btw, why not?

I don't ice out people to hurt them..I often do so to avoid being hurt by them.
To forget the person-yes
Because I'm angry- can be..but I don't ice them out for long if that's the case
Because I care- Yes,sometimes. I don't like leading people on
Because I don't care/or the person annoys me - No..Usually because I'm bored or overwhelmed
Memories linger.I try not to feed them.It hurts.I can live with that.

I am not a scorp, but I will and have totally iced out/amputated all my.previous relationships. For me it's the only way forward. Once the relationship is "terminated " I'm gone and don't try and keep us as "friends " I will find a way to force the other party to end it permanently also...

you again, I like you busy, I do, but this was a scorpio sun question, not a 8th house scorpio question lol

Get your arse to NZ at some point. I went about ten years ago now. Loved it! Similar size to the UK so super handy for getting about and exploring. Not sure how Christchurch is now as I went before they had the quake!

Ha ha, very interesting.

Sure...if I break it down...I definitely....."edge away" from people who I don't like, who hurt me or let me down. I'd not call them for a coffee...I'd not want to spend time with them...I'd stop texting them or whatever. So it would be a subtle cooling from me, not a total blatant "you're dead to me" thing. If they contacted me I'd respond really politely to ask how they were or whatever.

The man I posted about is friends with all his ex girlfriends and we didn't have a painful or dramatic breakup. I thought we split up because I liked him more than he liked me. I wanted something more serious, he said he could only offer casual at this time in his life. If anyone should have been the affronted I figured that would be me. I was pretty cut up actually.

He was nice during the breakup and said he didn't want to lose me as a friend and really cared a lot about me and apologised that he could not offer what I wanted and said he was sure I would live happily ever after with someone else............Then the ice!

Unfriended. No response to texts. Or I get a response and it's really unfriendly and sulky like he is angry or something.

I was just left a bit hmmmmm over it.

I lived in Japan for some time in 1998 AgentP, when they had th Winter olympics there. It was a beautiful place! Confusing for a while but hauntingly beautiful. I always wanted to visit NZ.

I could sit here and say, as an aries moon, that I don't ice people out. I could even make myself believe that. Aries moon, when it comes to themselves, can paint a very rosy picture of themselves.....and TOTALLY believe it. 😄

However, if I said that....it would be an outright lie....and I know better.
Hey if you can't paint a rosy picture of yourself..................😄

Oh... I really have to make time for that! I think I've idealized it so much in my mind - like a green paradise with massive hills everywhere... Green and fragrant - that's how I imagine it... And photos I've seen confirm it. Yeah I would love to!!

Aren't you going to South America soon? Another place I'm in a hurry to visit is Peru for Machu Picchu and the food of course!! But, I heard they are planning to close Machu Picchu to the public soon!! And I really want to see it before it's closed!! 😭
Yeah, next summer. Flight booked to Rio, just need to plan the rest of the five weeks now. Macho is on the list along with the Galapagos! It's Russia and the old Eastern bloc over cams and new year starting with Amsterdam. I'm working me way through phase one travel list!

Cool! I first went to Japan in 2002 so it would have been quite similar then. Travelled all over the south but didn't go north. I've been back since a number of times in the last few years. It's changed but not greatly. Everyone grew up and there's more of a western influence with lots of things being in English and lots of people speak English now. Back in 2002 nobody really spoke English and my Japanese was non existent at the time!

Thank you c:< And yes I love the fruit kiwi. I didn't know people of New Zealand were referred to as Kiwi. That's so adorable! Maybe I should marry someone from there so I can say I'm married to a kiwi.
