Scorps and their birthdays...

How do you feel about your birthday? I'm seeing this Scorp and we were talking about his birthday. A week ago, he was like, "Don't forget the date.". Today we were talking about it, and he was like, "TBH I don't give a fuck about my birthday. It's just another day. People are hypocrites. I don't want some people to even tell me happy birthday".

I was like alllrighty then. Lol. As a Sag, I'm like you better sing happy birthday every time you see me. So this is a bit different. Is this common with Scorps? Are Scorps generally blah about their birthdays, or do they pretend to be blah so they don't feel let down if things aren't what they hoped it would be?

i know a scorp who got into fight with all his friends b4 his birthday. i think he secretly wanted to see who really liked him and told him happy birthday despite him being a dick to them.

i think its the let down factor. everyone wants to celebrate their birthday.

my dad is a scorp moon and so is my sister, they dont do birthdays or surprise parties. but if u get them something they really like, it would mean the world to them.

i dont like celebrating my birthing in the sense of throwing a party. i like to do unusual impromptu gatherings.

I just noticed MidniteStar's post below. Wow. Scorps can be just a little bah humbug lol. If I care about you, I want you to care about my birthday big time. But outside of that circle I don't really care what people do.

Most scorps I know don't dig surprises in terms of parties. But they do adore being surrounded by the few that make them feel understood. If we expect you'll remember our birthday and then you shrug it off as whatever, we feel so misunderstood and completely forgotten.*insert deep dark scorpio hole aaaaaaaaaaan we're falling...* Most of us had a certain big letdown in our childhood or teen years about our birthdays where we felt we didn't matter so I think as we age we try to brush it away so as not to get hurt anymore and for the more thoughtful of us, to not hurt our loved ones with false hope and projections.

i can dig it. my dad is more open around family and he has like 2 friends. he enjoys being with people he trusts. he can do the cake and shit but thats bout it lol.
