Seeing a Scorpio again after a long time. How can I avoid getting nervous and act stupid?

I'm finally going to see a Scorpio after a while of not seeing him. We interact via Instagram and sometimes FaceTime because we live far. I haven't seen him face to face since last year and sometimes he shows interest in me long distance so I'm really nervous about seeing him. We're basically going out as a group with other people and he will be there, so yeah.... I'm excited but really nervous.
When I'm nervous and shy I start laughing for no reason and people think there's something wrong with me. So I'm worried that I'm gonna laugh in front of his face. It has happened before but with other people and it's so embarrassing. Can you give me some tips on how to be relaxed and calmed? I feel like my heart will beat fast and he will see that I like him if I can't control my laugh. I know I have to be myself but I don't want to look stupid in front of him.

Yeah, playing "cool" isn't necessary. Be honest.
Just let him know you're feeling excited and a little nervous about to see him just prior to the meet up. If you want you can even tell him what that will look like ("I tend to laugh awkwardly when I get nervous, pls don't get offended if that happens").
Being honest about your feelings is an endearing quality.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll try to control my laughter even though I'll be dying inside. I have a feeling I will get super nervous that it's scaryyyy. Lol
