"Water Sun/Water Moon combinations are shockingly obvious. The only exception is if the individual takes great measure to hide their wateriness, or if they have a dominant or competitive earth/air influence.

The poetic language, literary style of thought, general enchantment with close to all topics, emotions deeply embroiled with art form, normally music, sharp intuition and feeling but apparent lack in removed/disengaged logic approaches to situations initially, strong ability to recognize key bits of information and quickly shuffle through word fluff and misdirection and of course the often time partial to complete disconnect from say to day chit chat(barring other chart influences) all point towards the double water luminary personality. (Though I've observed such traits in Water Sun/Venesian Lunar people as well).

Just my observations." - Ellybean

Ellybean,
Thank you for the reply in BG's Scorp Bday thread.
This is what you are seeing in the double luminaries?

I know I need to ask more about your description. Somehow, for some reason, I am a bit stumped.
Specifically:
"sharp intuition and feeling but [apparent lack in removed/disengaged logic approaches] to situations initially"

"apparent lack in removed/disengaged logic approaches" - this sentence suggests that my logic approaches are, indeed,
present and engaged. Which only reinforces the sharp intuition and feeling.
Following a google search, I found a suggestion that double water luminaries apparently have difficulty in
separating thoughts and feelings. I don't think that is a problem because the feeling must be scrutinized by thought and
thought must be scrutinized by feeling. Hence, "My gut instinct tells me this, but my thoughts tell that" or...
A process of reproving one's thoughts by means of their feelings and vice versa. -
I've found that I will try to prove myself wrong before I prove myself right or..... When I "think" I am right,
I will have an urge to prove myself wrong. - The point of this kind of self-examination being that I can make
good calls in judgement. I don't particularly like having to redo things.
Where this process "can" be problematic is if it becomes an obsession and interferes with productivity, the object
of consideration has to wait or. Another scenerio is when it comes to planning.
An invention, for example: Idea or solution pops in head, then it will go through the process of being mentally drawn
and established, then competitor products, market value, production costs are weighed in. Sooner or later the idea
is canned. - The Hybrid Electric car is just one example - I thought it out 20 years ago and viola here it is.
I can see potential for that technology to be used to generate electricity, using what some would consider to be
"Perpetual Motion".

Anyway.....

Also, I happen to have Lilith in Cancer.
You know anything about what that means?

Found this, if it helps.

and, I am trying to find out where I can find the number of houses or maybe it's planets in my 8th house.

I meant lack of. Typing away so fast on my phone is not good for me. 😛

Being double water has it perks for sure but an automatic reasoning process is not one of them. It's not to say we're incapable, but most of our conclusions are met through intuition. We jut 'know'. We don't come up with the reasons or of we do its been after we make our decision. Highly intuitive. My personal issue with my Scorpio/cancer combo is that it makes me vulnerable to emotional pleas. Unless I'm careful I can be emotionally manipulated. I'm not sure about Scorpio/Pisces pairing exactly

It's always nice when I run into another water moon at all. It's very rare in my life.

Where is your mars firesir? 🙂

Thank you for the follow-up Ellybean.

Mars is in Aquarius.

i am convinced that as a water sun it would be so beneficial to have an earth moon.

ideally as a rule i could see it working as below: win-win situation for all.

fire sun - water moon/earth moon

air sun - water moon/earth moon

earth sun - fire moon/air moon

pisces sun/scorpio moon ----> makes me a very brooding and earnest pisces. at home though, i am soft and piscean. 🙂

Nemesis, I don't quite understand your list.
I am the exact opposite: Scorpio Sun/Pisces Moon

Lilith or the Dark Moon (True Lilith here) represents the uncrossable threshold, taboos, the individual's provocative and fascinating side, including on a sexual level. She symbolizes violence and "untameability", the radical and deep-seated refusal to submit. The keywords for Lilith can be sterility, sadism, perversity, castration, sadomasochism, eroticism, orgasm, forbidden fantasies, marginality, cruelty; redemption, illumination, rebelliousness... Lilith's opposite point is called Priapus; it is the Lunar perigee, the position where the Moon is closest to the Earth. It symbolizes man's primitive nature, the horror hidden in our deepest self; masochism, extreme sensuality, impulsiveness, irrationality and excess. Physically speaking, the Dark Moon is the focal point unoccupied by the Earth: it is not a concrete body but a mathematical point.

Interpretation of the 5?? Cancer symbolic degree
"A gauntlet, a sabre, and a whip are lain on a stump behind a man who forcefully drags a horse."

Intelligent, self-centred and wild character, disrespectful of other people's rights and feelings. Instincts should be tamed from early childhood, lest they develop into tyranny, sadism, and depravity. Sometimes, should circumstances of the social environment concur, this degree describes a figure of authority entrusted with many responsibilities who believes that strength prevails over law.

Water Sun/Water Moon is not an easy combination. Same for Fire Sun/Water Moon. They're not *bad* as such, just need a little more management. In the latter case, a Leo Sun with a Pisces Moon, for example . . . that's a tough deal.

Fire needs air and fuel in order to burn. Fire and air would naturally be an optimum and thus, easy.
A Fire and Water combo DOES sound like internal bi-polar chaos. That would be a tough one.
Kinda like a Leo and a Scorpio fight goin' on, on the inside.

It's about the positions of your planets in your natal chart.
(I think everyone will have at least a single luminary - though I could be wrong.)
Then, there is the Double and Triple Luminaries - though I don't know what the Third luminary is.

According to your It appears that you are at least a Double Water Luminary unless the rule
requires the planet has to be in a separate constellation. Someone else can probably explain
that better than I.

There are 4 elements: Earth, Air, Fire, Water

Fire Sun / Water Moon
Earth Sun / Water Moon
Air Sun / Water Moon
Water Sun / Water Moon

Fire Sun / Earth Moon
Earth Sun / Earth Moon
Air Sun / Earth Moon
Water Sun / Earth Moon

Fire Sun / Air Moon
Earth Sun / Air Moon
Air Sun / Air Moon
Water Sun / Air Moon

Fire Sun / Fire Moon
Earth Sun / Fire Moon
Air Sun / Fire Moon
Water Sun / Fire Moon

This thread seems to stem from a prior exchange between OP and the author of the initial quote? I was wondering how this interpretation might apply to me if at all, as my chart is heavy laden with water influences. I also wanted to post in order to select "other posts" under my name and find my previous message board conversations (couldn't figure out how to do it otherwise).

That is correct, ScorpSup. It started in another thread and I didn't want to hijack that thread.

Ah! I did miss it. And Nem's comment too.

Yeah you're Aqua Mars does probably your wateriness to be held up to a reasoning process. Do you find personally that you feel first, think later? Or do you analyzes emotions from the get-go before they take you over or get 'felt'all-the-way-out' so to speak.

I think I do both.
It all depends.
IF my recollection is good, my asc is in Libra.

Libra Rising and Venus in Scorpio

Your ruling planet, Venus, is in the willful and passionate sign of Scorpio, however, suggesting an emotional intensity, a depth of desire and of feeling which is belied by your surface equanimity: you appear mild and conciliatory but possess surprising drive and tenacity, especially regarding your loves. Intimate relationships are not only a tremendously impatient means of fulfillment and self-expression, they are also, for you, a crucible. You have a very exotic and creative force which can be used for love, healing, and creative purposes, or which can turn destructive and negative, bringing you (and others with you) down. Beware of allowing yourself to be ruled by those to whom you have a passionate attachment, and/or of wielding your own attractive powers to manipulate others through their desire for you.

Love is my "crucible". I have "a very exotic and creative force" that is equally capable of total destruction: When the King falls, his kingdom falls with him. From whence it is said "Remember your dying King!".
Of guns, drums and roses. Pay attention to the times and add the numbers.

I'm a Cancer sun with Scorpio moon. I kind of hate it but at the same time, I also kind of appreciate having the Scorpio moon. It makes me feel very intensely as if no one else could possibly feel on the same level as I do, and it also makes me very skeptical and untrusting of most people. My loyalty is boundless though, for the ones who earn it, and I can easily get along with and make friends with people but it takes an extremely long time to trust or accept a person to call them "one of my own", depending on how well we connect.
People say I'm very friendly and easy to get along with (most likely because of my Libra rising), but similarly people say they can't tell what I'm thinking or feeling as I come off as aloof and unpredictable, and it surprises me when most folks tell me I maintain a poker face throughout... Like I have little expression shown on my face, so I could come off as pissed off or upset or sad when I'm not, but when I'm happy it's extremely obvious and expressive.... It's really weird..

Also, no matter how stressed, frustrated, or sad I'm feeling, I can never seem to cry, and that alone frustrates the hell out of me! In the past 4 years, I can honestly say that I've probably cried about 3 times, and one of those times I kinda tried to force it out of myself because my feelings were so overwhelming.
I'm also a lot less expressive than typical water signs or double water signs and tend to bottle all my emotions up inside, which sucks for me because as much as I'd love to voice them out, I can't and I rather not do it either.

I don't know if any of you can relate to that though.. or those with scorpio moon..
