— Sure you are a Scorp?
Allow me to ask this.
Which of the three posts (monti, exo, or me) you found to be negative bullshit?

Posted by FixedWater
Just lookin for a battle, aren't you. In a thread about doing something nice for someone else. Tell me Lib, why does it bug you so much?

Posted by LetltB
...meaning..whose comments were negative and what specific comments did you find negative.

No, not at all, this isn't something one would battle over, it's actually pretty clear.
You accused someone of being negative, and when asked who were you referring that to, you refused to answer. I ask again specifically, and you again refuse to answer by derailing the questions posed and now telling me I'm looking for a battle. Own the accusation by answering the questions...WHO WAS BEING NEGATIVE— AND HOW?click to expand

Why would I answer for her? That's just weird.
Where do you like to pay it forward, LIB?

then why are you still here, other than to derail?
Posted by FixedWater
Why must you put a negative spin on it.. I do this kind of thing everyday and all the time. There are many that don't and this was a good reminder that life isn't always all about serving self.
Take your negative, high handed BS somewhere else.

honey, I wouldn't asnwer your question if someone paid me to....simply because it drives you insane. 😄

Posted by IrresistableScorp
It's negative because who gives a crap if someone wants to have a feel good thread where we trade stories about paying it forward. Jesus christ??_its always something with you. Calm down. How does this affect your life one iota? Answer it doesn't.

When I do the pay it forward thing, I like it to be a drive by and anonymous. I don't care for the attention.

I was just answering why I felt it was negative...

....and making it not anonymous here does what for you?
I was asked to share stories and that is what I'm doing.
This place is as anonymous as any.
I didn't blast it on facebook or send people text message bulletins.

I *think* the principle or maybe the question at hand, here, is
Would we still do good things for people (i.e. the right thing) if we knew we wouldn't get credit for it?
That it would go unnoticed by the world at large... or that the recipient, even, wouldn't know who his/her benefactor was?
(Not on this plane, anyway lol)
Because technically, if we do it for the accolades, then we are still doing it for ourselves.

See?
I'm done now.
Posted by TwirlingStrawberry
it took three fucking pages for her to admit it felt good to do something nice for someone else.
smh.click to expand

oh, ffs....stop projecting. it's so transparent.
the only person in this thread who got angry was you.

I think I will mix up a ton of chocolate chip soft oatmeal cookies and feed them to the community kids here. They get so little in the way of homemade treats and parental attention. The looks on their faces will be priceless. Lol

On Christmas Eve last year, I was at the grocery store. I paid it forward by paying for the woman's groceries behind me.

I'm not requoting your angry demands to fixedwater. You can go back and read them yourself.
the point is....why do you even care? you dropped your opinion just like exo and monty....but you refused to let it go. Sure, FW disagreed with you but instead of moving slong, you insisted on making someone else feel like crap for starting this thread and the way they worded stuff in this thread.
you try so hard for validation......why can't you just be happy with your opinion.
I don't see exo or monte all up in this thread demanding others to agree with them. They simply stated their opinion *civily* and moved the hell on.
You spent THREE+ pages demanding to know why Fixed felt the way she did. Honestly, that's none of your business. Every thread is not a crusade to see who is the best. Get over yourself.

any kind act someone does for someone else does make someone feel good.
if it didn't...people wouldn't do it.
if a kind act made you feel like dog doo.....do you think people would even attempt to do it?click to expand
