How do I get through to Taurus guy?

how do you get a taurus to open up? being patient, being accepting of him, having trust and being consistent i would say.

you can't push and your pretty libra words wont make for any long lasting openness. yeah, you might get them to spill a bit but then it is right back to being fort knox and you're back to where you started.

the thing is, you've said your prepared to wait. for what? this guy hasn't shown you he is interested in you at this point. you live on the other side of the country. you're left to "interpret" what he says in interviews. he isn't helping you get to know him and rather than selecting you as a special person to him, he treats you as one of the crowd.

he is at a cross roads in his life. his career looks like it is taking off and there is i imagine a great deal in his life you are not aware of. i wouldn't be surprised if there was someone else in his life (although that's a pure guess on my part). he just doesn't seem in a place to want anything more than he has already got.

i wouldn't wait. be friends. when he is ready he can find you. in the meantime stay in the circle and keep the lines of communication open but don't invest more than you already have.

Thank you Jeane. You are right on a lot of that I think. I'm not waiting in the sense that I'm not dating other people..I just meant wait on him to open up more. I want to be his friend regardless. I don't know that we'd ever be romantic. Right now, I just want to have some confirmation that I'm in the circle of trust. The rest can evolve as it will. He's not seeing anyone. I do know that. He has said he doesn't have time for that in his life right now which is again why I'm not really looking at a romance at this point. I just really want him to know if he needs a friend, an ear, i'm here. Thanks again.

if you want him to know if he ever needs an ear that you're available then tell him that but then it's up to him and leave it at that. you can't fix him. not everyone is looking to be saved.

what does it matter if you are in his circle of trust? why does it mean so much? from what you've said, you are friends. he hits you up when he doesn't hear from you. like you said, let it evolve in whatever form it will.
