Loss and negative changes are not something I do not deal with well. An upsetting move, unexpected loss of income, the end of a close relationship, a best friend moving far away because no matter what they say or how much we both try, it's never the same.
I hate to see ancient trees being chopped down in my neighborhood. The death of a pet is heartbreaking. The death of a loved one, unthinkable.

But I do embrace promotion, acquistion, luxury, moving to a larger place, a new love love in my life... Positive changes are easy for me.

I don't hate change so much as I hate surprises. Change is inevitable, so I feel somewhat mentally ready for it.

Surprises - good or bad - throw me off. They force change upon me, and that, I don't like.
You do realize a life with no surprises (good or bad) is boring?
So?
I can plan my fun and excitement 😄

I hate it, always have - because it throws me into anxiety which is the part that I don't like ... the unexpected "what if" - and I've been so very independent in my entire life I'm not sure how I've survived it all or at all. I'm glad to know that I'm not alone. I've thought this was a product of environment but now know that others like me born in the same month have similar concerns so that in itself is comforting.

Change if it comes from within is good. And I can be very spontaneous but not risky. I change when I'm ready and that's always a good thing for me. but forced change from the outside is difficult. Deep breath meditation, talking myself through it, a drink before bedtime to relax me to sleep well, etc. I like things to stay the same, predicted, safe, secure ... my feet planted firmly on solid ground. That might appear boring to some. But hey, we bulls spend a lot of time planning and making our world what we want so we don't want the walls falling in on us cause we worked so hard to get what we have.

I'm not talking about surprises. I'm talking about drastic changes like losing or finding love. Losing employment or finding a better job. Changing residence. Death. The big stuff.
