Er... I don't really see what's so confusing. He said he wants to be friends.........so is it out of the ordinary for friends to email each other?

It's just that this is a lot of emailing and contacting every day. I wouldn't do that for someone I didn't like and not for someone I just met, but you're right I should take him at face value.
At least he was being honest about it so he didn't string you along. Taurus guys are usually drama free. My best friend is a male Taurus. He just tells you upfront what his intentions are. He's not doing it to mean ... he's just not into drama.

I find it odd that he is emailing and texting and chatting to you constantly but as he has stated that he doesnt want to date you and you have to take that at face value. Most men are certainly upfront when it comes to something they dont want to do.
What do you talk about? I'm thinking he's found a really good friend in you but I hope he isnt crossing those lines with the conversation, like leading you on. So why do you feel you are starting to develope feelings for him? Are you misinterpeting his conversation?

Yeah it's strange. We talk about everything, our past, our childhoods, books, movies, music, life, work... We flirt, but maybe I am misinterpreting it. I feel like I am developing feelings because it's rare to have this connection with someone so soon. You are probably right, that he just thinks of me as a good friend. So sad!
See that's the thing, if he's stated that he is not interested in dating you but then leading you on and flirting with you I think that is so wrong. Constant contact with someone on a personal level is addictive, you start checking your phone and email accounts constantly and it really is wrong for him to say one thing and then do another. I would suggest you not flirt back and when he does you draw the line and tell him not to cross it so that you dont misunderstand your friendship. I think this will make him sit up and realise how unfair he is being and then you will be able to continue with your friendship...I hope you are up for only being a friend though...it can get kind of crazy as I'm sure you already know!
