Taurus mercury = dumb?

I'm sure I'm going to be hated on for posting this, but has anyone else noticed that Taurus mercury people even Taurus sun people to some degree are slow thinking & ignorant.

I had the misfortune of dating a girl not too long ago with this placement & I couldn't believe I was having dinner with this imbecile who didn't even know who Ed Miliband was. I also knew another girl who was a Taurus and very dumb.

The Bull that has my interest has Taurus Merc and his brain is brilliant. He comes up with the most amazing things that others wouldnt think of.

What's funny is I think people do tend to think I'm dumb. I am aware I come across as unpretentious and unassuming... and I use that to my advantage to quietly climb social ladders. All of a sudden, people would realize I was one of the top of the class academically or I am one of the top performers whose opinion senior leaders will seek.

I am not the quick-witted kind of smart... rather very deliberate, thorough, and with deep understanding.
