Just me thinking but...I find it interesting how really simple and somewhat predictable the Taurus can be. Yet why are we always waiting for more?

All the Taurus men I know ones I've dated or just friends are very straightforward. Ask a direct question, you get a direct answer.

They get carried away with work and other activities at time but not in a deceitful way, they genuinely do from what I've seen. Not to mention they seem to love alone time.

So why is this so hard for the men/women dating to understand?!

My other relationships seemed to have so many more layers (Scorpio,Gemini and another Scorpio ?) are we just not used to this simplicity and lack of drama?

There was no fan fare for me with my ex bull no moving heaven and earth like some of my other exs just simple loyalty.

I understand it so differently now! Broke up with my ex (I was 19) as it seemed he just wasn't interested but I feel so differently now. I had the fan fares, huge gestures/declarations of love and he is the only guy no matter what that has been there 11yrs later!! Wow!!

What's your sign OP?

Thank you, I enjoyed reading your post. We are loyal, people get lost in illusion of love being grand gestures. The disillusionment of being with someone who is drama free is something many people are not used to, as you stated, as it translates to lack of interest. It has to do with patience. We simply love others, we take care of necessities, but our actions towards you show how we feel about you.

@redbull totally different speed! The rush is because we want to know everything now! Ha! But after that there is always something else we want to know so we always are moving 10 times faster wondering why you are still behind and assuming your "lethargy" is a simple lack of interest.

@umisaid. I'm an aqua! It is complete disillusionment. Always waiting for something to happen next.....still waiting lol! As I was so young at the time it seemed so boring I guess, but now we are talking again it just feels safe!

@parkourlour yes the analyzing and strategies! I remember a time I checked up on him and then asked him to see what I saw and what he said matched (I didn't follow him just on FB) and of course they did but that was almost so strange...that was it! I would say that the way in which you can show how you feel is almost so traditional and practical that you can overlook it. I think we are brainwashed to think some of these impractical, unsustainable gestures mean more ha! And predictable!! Oh my he told me what his plans were for the last 2 weeks and like clock work, that's exactly what he was doing!

I think it's hard to believe just how simple you can be.

“The Taurus Symbol

Exhausted by the fiery furnace of Aries, consciousness seeks pools of cool water, the solace of ancient stones, the healing rustle of birdsong among green leaves. It seeks peace. It trades the harangue for the symphony, passion for silence. No longer incandescent with the fire of battle, spirit reaches snarled hands into the earth, feeling for seeds, for clay, for the flesh of the planet itself. The symbol is a bull. Not the enraged monster furious at the red flag of the matador. Not the ferocious bull. But rather the tranquil one, standing solitary beneath a spreading April oak, quietly surveying grass and sun, cattle and earth. Nothing frightens him. Gone is the fearsome posturing of the Ram. The Bull is so in control of his world, so far beyond fear that fearlessness itself has become meaningless to him. The Arian war has been won. Taurus is at peace.”
