What does this mean??
Could really use some advice. Patience is not my best virtue. I know I will likely have to wait 3 weeks to truly know what's going on, but I'd still like to hear form Taurus what they think is going on.

Okay I respectfully ask that you don't judge.
I (Virgo) met a (Taurus) through online dating. We spoke everyday since the day we linked up online, video chatted to confirm identifies and everything. But I was nervous to meet in person so made him wait a month although we spoke every day in the meantime. We finally met in person, hit it off expressed the desire to get to know each other exclusively and to move forward from there while still taking it slow. Since day 1 he revealed he has pending legal issues and is currently on probation. He got locked up for a weekend while we were still getting to know each other and I put money on my phone so he can call me, and he did every chance he could get. Since we have gone on a date he got a violation of probation charge of 30 days ( that was a week ago). He asked me if he could call me, which I assured him he could, but I haven't heard from him.
What does this mean? He even came out the night before he was turning himself in just to get in one last hang out session with me. We haven't had sex or anything. I know he wasn't sent to county so he may not have phone privileges, but assuming he does and is choosing not to call me should I just forget about him or wait it out another 3 weeks until he gets out? And after he gets out if he doesn't call should I reach out? I know we weren't in love and all that, but I was really feeling him. I don't do well with not having closure. This makes me feel very confused...... Any advice is appreciated.
