What do you think is the world's most underrated country? I think Germany. Here in Great Britain at least we unfortunately get a lot of negative stereotypes about Germans and Germany but for me the most important thing about any country is not the food, the climate or the "sights" but whether the people there are honest, friendly, helpful, etc. Germans are known to be more honest than most people and are friendlier that most people seem to give them credit for, though the ice does need to be broken sometimes.

Eh, no.

You are propping up a country that murdered some 9 million people, and then put the bodies into ovens.

Sorry, no sale.

Try again.

How long ago was that? Their current state and values do not support that. If you want to talk like that than almost all countries had some form of oppression (slavery and genocides).

And this fuckin' guy is a teacher. lmfao!

I'd like to hear him educate us on Korea, Vietnam and Iraq, to name a few examples.

At least Germany learned from its past.

I am so cautious on where , I go..USA is okay. I live in Southern California. Nice weather, and few earthquakes. I think I'll stay forever. And just visit a few other states and countries.

Mine is west coast, but southern California...is where my heart is..

Too much war out there, tsunami, terrorism, dictatorship, and some even have harsher rules in their government. And laws.

WWII ended in 1945 - so 69 years ago. germany of today can HARDLY be compared to the state of 1939 - 1945. and not to minimize german accountability for war crimes - but there were countries who gladly followed this example - countries such as:

Italy (1922—1943)
Japan (1931—1945)
Austria (1933—45)
Brazil (1937—1945)
China, Republic of (1932—1938; 1941-1945)
Croatia (1941—1945)
France (1940—1944)
Greece (1936—1941)
Hungary (1932—1945)
Norway (1943—1945)
Portugal (1932—1974)
Poland (1930s)
Romania (1940—1944)
Slovakia (1939—1944)
Spain (1936—1975)

there is no such thing as collective "guilt". this is nearly 70 years ago - get the fuck over it and move on you ignorant twat.

or can we blame you for some wrong doings of your ancestors?

Exactly. Every single country committed some form of genocide or inhumane forms of oppression in their history.
And remember; History is written by the victors. Their war crimes are usually forgotten or ignored as to not taint our view of our ancestors.

I would say that at least in Europe, Taiwan is an underestimated country. Half the people haven't heard from it, the other half confuses it with Thailand and sex-tourism.

Australia would be overestimated for me. It felt like the US with different plants and wildlife. The same sort of urban sprawl. The people are nice though.

Germany feels like a second home with cheaper pizza and ice cream. Their d?ner is too tame though. Needs more sambal and less curry.

Loved Hong Kong, hated Shanghai.

Still want to go to Madagaskar, Kazachstan and Iran once in my life.
