Oh I've never had a flu shot. Too paranoid. A friend of mine got one a while back and her face broke out in white patches.

As for Samuel L, he is a Cappie...and so is Denzel...and Kevin Costner....just to name some of my favorite Cappie men in hollywood.

I also met Samuel L in Forty Deuce, NY a few years back and he looked just as great in person as he does on screen. Tourists were everywhere screaming and jumping out of their yellow cabs just to get his autograph. I told him that I was sorry that he lost the NAACP award to Denzel that year. Forgot what movie it was for.

AHAHAHAHA Chris Rock is a jerk. Kind of true however. Sam is the man. The coolest man on earth in my book. I think he can play any role and I just absolutely loved him in "The Negotiator".

Awww...but I love Dr. Phil. Yeah he's a little boring but the man's a genius. I also was able to catch this new show called "The Talk". It's sort of like "The View" but in my opinion, a little better. Holly Robinson Peete (who is also a Virgo) is on it with Sharon Osbourne, Leah Remini (the wife from tv show "King of Queens") and two other women who I can't remember at the moment. I love it! They're not as gossipy as the women of The View and the show really focuses on women's issues and charity work. Being sick is the shit sometimes. lol...I also caught up on some Oprah.

You really do wear Black when you go into emo mode? Yeah we Virgos do tend to get like that sometimes now don't we. All emo and whatnot. Hmmmm...I wonder what Dr. Phil would say to you.

Yeah, A Christmas Story is where it's at. ("You'll shoot your eye out!") I'm also going to make it my business to see "It's a Wonderful life". Had the dvd for over 3 years now and have never watched it. Heard it's amazing.

I wear black all the time, lol. I realized a few weekends ago that 90% of my closet is either black or grown or grey. Dr. Phil can suck my big toe.

I saw "It's A Wonderful Life" for the first time several years ago. A bit long, but I think it didn't touch me as much because people have raved about it for so long. I expected spectacular and got "meh". It was good though.

Wow, he didn't turn out too bad after all. He was so damn funny in that movie. Not into White guys but he's definitely a cute one. His eyes are a really beautiful shade of blue.

I love black clothing. Grey too. I used to wear really bright colors in my younger years but I cut all of that out. Funny, they say Virgos are known for neutral colors but, I've honestly never really cared for them.

Yeah, I think all of the raving I've heard of IAWL will have the same 'meh' effect on me too. I'll tell you what else I do love: The Polar Express and How the Grinch Stole Christmas (with Jim Carrey). My eldest niece absolutely loves those films and I can't tell you how many times her and I have watched them at my house. It's insane! I swear I've seen both of those movies at least over fifty times a piece.


Oh and btw, I'mma buy you a red sweater for x-mas. lol

But yes, I'm more partial to It's A Wonderful Life, and then on the other end of the spectrum -- Bad Santa, Xmas Vacation

Now, about Sammy Jackson, I couldn't really tell how he looked because he had one of those fishing hats pulled down to the ridge of his forehead, with the eyeglasses. He looked exactly like he did in that move Changing Lanes. Have you guys seen that movie? Goooood movie. Anyway, I just threw out Pisces because he's in film. I'm horrible at picking signs.

I spend my Thanksgivings improving my cooking skills. I hide from family and friends, and just chill out at home, with some good movies and improve on my skills so that when the whole marriage/kids thing comes about, it's like second nature to me 🙂

Then I sleep and wake up and eat again, LMFAO. Bliss.

I don't mind seeing family on the weekend directly following, in fact I'm taking my niece and nephew to see the new Harry Potter movie on Saturday, then I'm giving them money to race all over whatever department store they choose to do some shopping, lol. I make up for my distance.

Truth be told? I've dated nothing but White guys. I've flirted with and been flirted with by Black men, but they get very jealous/possessive with me (a huge no no) and have even threatened me (one called me up drunk and told me "I know you're playing hard to get, but I want you, and I ALWAYS get what I want"). I know there are Black men out there that are sweet as all hell (I have friends who are dating them! LOL) but I haven't really met one that I clicked with in every way. Who knows, maybe someday soon. Yes, sometimes distance from family is a good thing. It makes the getting together so much more fun and enjoyable because you actually miss them. Don't you just love being an aunty?! My sister's last baby, my nephew, made 7 months about a week ago and I am just in love. He is so cute and cuddly. He's in the "exploratory" stage so he's grabbing everything and looking everywhere. He just can't stay still. He's got massive energy. He's an Aries. My 2 year old niece is well, just a pain in the bum. lol. She's in that feisty Miss independent stage. Telling everybody no. Attitude, attitude, attitude. She's a moody little Pisces. The six year old is my fave. She's an aqua and so damn intelligent. Dainty. Very helpful and just all around fun. My sister has her in private school and she is at the top of her class. She was telling me that she gets annoyed because everyone always asks her for help with their work.

As far as the mens are concerned, Vanillas scare me a bit. At least the ones I met. Just a bit too foreign for my taste but hey, if they work for someone else, more power to ya. I hear you about feeling like you're missing out big time 'cause the bruthas put "big" into everything. lol.

Hey ma! Missed you too! Yeah, the Holidays are here and I'm frantically trying to get so much done. I've been trying to spend more time with my nieces and nephew and my mom has been such a doll helping me get my apartment in order.
