So they say we're cold, and unemotional...but we know we're not πŸ˜‰

We're just guarded, observant...and reluctant, lol; it's a defense mechanism. Rejection is not our friend, because we will beat ourselves up about it big time--worse than any one else could.

Of course, no matter how many people are attached to the sign, we're all going to vary in our feelings towards love, and our actions as well...but I still think there's a connection to the sign when it comes to how we act under love's spell.

So who are you in love? How do you act?
Are you showy? Into PDAs, and announce to friends and family when you think you've found "The One"?
Are you daydreaming about them all day, even though we always have an intense need to stay busy @ work/school?
Do you find yourself shy around them, no matter how far you've gone together, your heart fluttering everytime they smile at you, or walk into the room?
Have you ever really truly (in your opinion) been in love? If not, do you think it could ever happen to you?

Let's see...how do I act? Well, I was cursed with Venus in Scorpio so my feelings are much more intense then I would like them to be. It's kinda hard to keep them under wraps. I was raised to treat women with respect and to do the right thing so I'm a gentleman in my dealings with females. That being said, I'm not showy or very vocal about my relationships, not because I don't care, I feel it's out of respect for them and it's nobody's business but our own. I'm not very into PDA's for that reason and would much rather "get a room" lol

This makes the Leo I'm dealing with right now pretty angry. She says my shyness pisses her off sometimes but the fact that I'm such a gentleman is damn sexy ^_^. She also apparently throws signals at me but they always go over my head, which upsets her and makes her think I'm not interested, which is far from true. *shrug* I'm a communicator, not a mind-reader lol. Yeah, I still get shy around her no matter how intimate we've been over the past few years. It gets hard to breathe and my heart pounds furiously, it makes me uncomfortable because of the lack of control. Have I ever been in love? I hate to admit it but I think I am now. With a damn Leo...my mother's a Leo too. Paging Dr. Freud!

This was sort of mentioned in the flirting thread, but I believe our love style is affected more so by our venus than our sun sign. So, even though we're virgos, and we all know we can love deeply, I feel how we express it is left up to other factors. No one is ever "not loving" I guess is the way to put it. When I truly care for someone, it kind of just takes me over. Like, I kind of blow it up in my head. I just want to be around that person a lot; I want to touch that person. And I feel like, no matter how much my life has gone to shit, there will always be something to look forward to. I feel powerful and determined. I'm not so harsh and controlled. In fact, with the person, I'm more like puddy (which is expertly masked behind my sarcasm and humor lol). My venus is in leo, so love is kind of just... huge. It consumes me, but not in a way that I need it or that I can't focus on my life. I just want it, and when I feel something strong, it can take over so many of my senses. It's really hard for me to explain, honestly.

Oh friend, this is a hard subject. I am still trying to understand what being in love means and if I want to experience that or rather just acknwledge it once I see it...

Love is a very complex word for me. Feelings are hard to define or understand at times because they go beyond logic...

Yeah... as I learned... it's difficult to measure feelings... I can tell you how much I love someone, but I really wouldn't be able to understand why or how.

Yep. I hear ya. Sometimes it makes no sense whatsoever...I have come with some theories...perhaps adopted some, but even then I still feel things from time to time...even though I shouldn't.

We virgo's do know what we fill on the inside when we first meet someone but the outside is a whole other subject i was like that back in the day but i fill like now that i've gotten older i have more to give cause i understand what being in love is vs being in lust..and beleive me it's to differnt things..and i think to many people get them mixed up..but im in very love with my aqua wife..yes very..i did use to act shy around her but not so much now...and yes i like pda..did'nt use too but now i can't keep my hands off my wife in public..she don't like it as much thats why i do it..but she's getting use to itπŸ™‚ yes i still smile if i haven't seen her all day and she walks in the houseπŸ™‚

That was really good 69virgo I've come to similar realizations about the difference between love vs. lust...I just need to master in discerning that more clearly and faster once things happen within me. I am working on it, I am finally getting a grasp of my needs and not so much just my longing...I think I will soon have more chance to experience that, as I find myself in a new stage of the dating experience...

AWWWWW! πŸ™‚!

Jesus, I had no clue Virgo men were so romantic! Between you, yosarian, and Decan, dang! I need to look into Virgo men...

Hmmm, goofy, gallant, crazy, attentive, demonstrative, protective, unpredictable, fun, sexy, suave, erudite, sophisticated, slay the dragon, kill the wabbit, bring home the muskrat pelt, sing you love songs, spin your rinse cycle, write you crappy poetry, wine you, dine you, and turn your world upside down, leaving no doubt in your brain that you are in fact the only female on the planet, from the moment I said, I love you.

Of course not everyone likes that sort of thing.

I do! I do! I love that sort of thing...

I had to sign up and post this just because the quote above pretty much sums up what happened between my darling Virgoman and me. It's been a wild ride. Most astro sources warn that Virgos love order and Aquas love chaos and therefore a relationship can never work (insert pic of The Odd Couple). But for those of us who know better, we live in a joyous state of what can only be called "controlled chaos". He is the hottest, funniest, smartest, sweetest man alive. He's also an infuriating, domineering perfectionist, but what the hell, I love him and I love all his idiosyncrasies too. I consider myself one the luckiest women on the planet πŸ™‚

I can add a little observant info from the outside based on a relationship with a virgal. I could tell a big change when she 'fell in love' with me, well I am going to make the assumption she did because I noticed a huge change in the way she was towards me. She turned VERY affectionate and warm and started to worry about pleasing me more-so that taking care of herself it seemed. It was like she started thinking with her heart and not her head which seemed pretty significant. Altho on a bad note, we are seperated by distance for a few years and she started thinking with her head (according to her) and she told me it was unrealistic to try to have a serious relationship at this point. 😒

I'm cold, and polite. Do things to show u I like you, then all of the sudden lose control, and unleash the passion. To the girl's delight or complete fear. Depends on the sign lol. Doesn't go over well with Libras, but melts pisces and taurus.

Virgos are very sweet in love, when they are in love. Yes, but they can scare themselves easily too.

Cold and unemotional, no way. In my opinion, virgos are the most emotional of the entire zodiac ^_^.

Yes, I said it and mean it.
