I spent many years (even some tears... 🙂 - trying to understand the human mind - the human nature (and other stuff...), starting with my own, so now - i'm doing better at this. That understanding - it's what helped me. But still, i can see the point of that site... it's a form of meditation. Basically, you can do the same on your own: you sit down in a quiet room (with all electronics off) - and meditate... as in: you observe your thoughts instead of acting - as if - you are your thoughts (as if they are your thoughts), you just... observe them... you let them come into your mind - you pay attention from distance (as if they're some temporary guests) and then - you let them go.. and keep on observing - the silence in between - till the silence occupies more space than your thoughts. Some people - choose to look at their thoughts - as if they're clouds - and they watch them come and go... There are all kinds of examples - you just have to try - till you find one that works for you (or more than one).

Good luck. 🙂
