I like Stephen King, but my favorite Virgo authors are:

1. H.G. Wells - War Of The Worlds is the original "alien invasion" story. Wells had quite a few wars in his real life - could not be faithful to his long-suffering wife.

2. Edgar Rice Burroughs - Tarzan is okay, but I prefer his John Carter, Warlord of Mars series. Some of those books would make cool movies with today's special effects!

3. Leo Tolstoy - yes, Anna Karenina is frickin' LONG, but it's worth the time. I love this quote about him: "If the world could write by itself, it would write like Tolstoy." I am very much like one of the protagonists, Nikolai Levin, the farmer who tries to modernize his estate, and gets all sorts of passive resistance from his serfs! Levin also waits YEARS for the love of his life to figure out what kind of man she really wants. No surprise at the similarities between us, since: "The character Levin is recognised as a stand-in for Tolstoy himself, whose first name in Russian is "Lev"." A Virgo is a Virgo is a Virgo...

4. D.H. Lawrence - Lady Chatterley's Lover is about more than just sex (although I like his honest treatment of it). He is very insightful about man/woman relations in the modern world, where the traditional roles have already left the ancient track, and yet the modern people haven't sorted things out.

my favorite famous virgoans ... 🙂

September 16, 1638 - Lousi XIV 'Sun King' - Royalty ~* Louis ascended the throne at only 14, but didn't assume personal control of the government until the death of his prime minister, in 1661. His reign lasted seventy-two years, three months, and eighteen days, the longest documented for any European monarch to date. (i have the foreign film/movie of his life--Impressed to say the least, such a fascinating piece of history!)

September 21, 1866 - H. G. Wells - The War of the Worlds (1898) ..much like Jules Verne, not only a great author, but also an interesting, compelling futurist; he really did made you think "what if??" ..

Stephen King - my fav. ALL-time author- tho if i get another 50 pnd book, my shelf WILL fall..LOL! .. *uhhm happily fall! =)

Keanu Reeves /cancer moon -just the coolest virgoan on the entire planet, imho. But even more beautiful on the inside; a truly nice, decent person who has had alot to deal with/loss in his life, and yet has risen above.. *you can really respect the guy.

James Marsden/The 24th Day
Scott Speedman/The 24th Day/Underworld
Christian LeBlanc/Y&R ..
