Do you discuss on forums to make friends?

Other signs seem to 'desire' friendship through the internet rather than make friends in person - they want that pseudo-friendship feeling

I wanted to know if the rest of you Virgo would seek to make friends with people from the internet?

Or do you make a distinction that people on the internet are people on the internet?

Which brings me to the issue of friendship - do you only classify a person as a friend if they make efforts in person?

Different to acquaintance who you wouldn't go over and visit or have around to visit?

Nah. For me thus far it's about entertainment and fresh anonymous perspectives on questions that I seek answers to.
Although with time and more exposure I wouldn't be opposed to making an internet friend I suppose.
I would have to say I would measure efforts either way. If a person communicates or asks without being clingy, about whats going on with you from time to time, it doesn't matter if it's in person or on the net. That shows slight interest and effort on their part I would assume.

I'm not a virgo.

But I value some of my internet friends as I do real life friends. Especially if we've gotten to the point of texting or phone calls.

But, being a scorpio, I don't really like people in real life anyways and efriends are just much easier to maintain. 😛

gee you scorpio... my exgf is the same but i would not exploit her personality to show my virtue. but if i meet another scorpio woman... i'll think about it...

There is a lot of folks here I like to read, however I am not sure I can truly be friends with someone I have not gotten drunk with.

my exgf is really the typical stay home kind of woman

you have to put energy into keeping her entertained because she doesnt want to be around people

i could have locked her up in the bedroom but she just willingly stays there even with the door open

she behaved like a pet puppy and my philosophy about pets is they are no different from humans. you cant just leave them at home all day until you come home. then its time for play - they will be bored out of their mind and to me thats cruel. animals are not plants that sit there and vegetate needing water and fertiliser every now and again

so when it comes to my exgf who is a scorpio, i didnt really want to exploit that side of her - i always tried to have connection with her during her lunch break and until i got home

No... I'm here to piss people off -- can't you tell?

Which brings me to the issue of friendship - do you only classify a person as a friend if they make efforts in person?

No... But, I'm very traditional (and Virgo!!) in the number of true friends I have, and in the slow process it takes to move from acquaintance to Friend of mine...

who accuses you of coming here to piss people off?

i'm the same with my friend selectivity

you obviously don't know tydyed 😛

I wouldn't say that I detest people that much to stay in the house that much waiting for my lifeline (partner) to show me some attention/affection/proof there is life outside of our house.

this is exactly her scorpio behaviour. she's happy when i came home. she did teach me that friends arent friends until you make effort and to be even more selective with friends. she had been backstabbed a lot

i wouldnt know tydyed too well at all despite our same birthday, i never met anyone from here. but its good that people like him give contribution so i can see if there is any similarity or not

Well... I am the Virgo Son of a Virgo Dad & Leo Mom. Dad & I both have Taurus Moons, so we butted heads a lot when I lived under His Roof. I grew up in The South -- a very Andy Griffith childhood -- in a rural area about 45 minutes from the nearest city. I married a Libra right after college. We had a Scorpio Daughter together, but eventually we divorced. I married my Scorpio in 2006, and we had fraternal twin Scorpios in 2007.

i understand most except the cultural stuff like andy griffith so i'll look that up. what were you hoping when you married a libra?

did you plan to have scorpio kids?

there is a virgo girl that had an upsetting moment yesterday. i went to investigate so i could go back to give her reassurance

i wanted to ask other virgo is the reassurance and comforting would be the same as i would expect or not?

i imagine other virgo responding better to a stable reassuring tone. for example if i said "what?! how can it be? oh no, are you ok?" i feel this would make other people let alone a virgo panic rather than,

"listen, i had a talk with her and you dont have anything to worry about, she was just trying to teach you a lesson in a cruel way to satisfy her ego. everything is going to be ok, from what i found out, you dont need to worry anymore"

which would you prefer as a virgo?
