Virgo and Interest in Psychoanalysis

Many Virgos enjoy psychoanalysis and personality profiling as it aligns with their analytical nature and desire for self-understanding. It is common for Virgos to find value in exploring psychological insights to improve themselves and their relationships.

I love watching those TV shows, CSI, Criminal Minds, anything like that. Although, I think it's just because I love to learn stuff. 🙂

real forensics is so different from hollywood forensics, we actually use real thought processes, not such convenience like they have in those shows haha. i have to admit i've stolen some of their cg to use for presentations haha

N is for iNtuitive

its another personality characterisation system like astrology

because personality is multivariate, there are many systems you can use

this way you can set up a multi dimensional chart of people's personality

when you get to 4D, it gets a little tricky so you can imagine when you get to 20D

The more someone talks the more they reveal themselves....so I would think the questions asked are key to getting the answer you are looking for....a question can make or break a case?

I agree with you. I love to listen to people talk. Eventually they tell on themselves. LOL

every transaction involves transfer of something to another - locard's principle

that means both answers and questions, verbal and especially non-verbal

the point is having the eyes to see, the ears to hear, the nose to smell, the tongue to taste, the skin to feel and the brain to process it all

If I'm generally interested in someone I will ask alot of questions, otherwise I'll just listen....to every word. LOL

yes, circumstance is everything

people that think black and white dont understand the grey when circumstance is involved. what is grey to others is quite distinctly black and white to us

I think everyone has it, just some people aren't in tune with it. The more you notice those things and the more you make yourself learn about those things, the more intuitive you will be.

practice makes perfect and develops intuition. intuition is directly related to experience

I always though intuition was a spiritual insight...either u have it or u dont, kind of a thing.

thats imagination

imagination is needed to see relationships, how well you imagine is directly related to experience and inspiration. the brain is needed to test them

It is impossible for a criminal to act, especially considering the intensity of a crime, without leaving traces of this presence.

^^^^^I found that quote to be hauntingly intrigueing....a criminals intent is the legacy in itself...

yes that is locard's principle. the only barrier is the law - funny that

Not particularly, natal charts prove to be very useful.

Otherwise, I just let me natural need for analysis go to town.
Comparing people by signs and listening to their stories, looking for correlation and similarity to other stories.

The 12 Signs and their similarities

if you think 1D personality profiling is something, you really should try multivariate analysis. especially if you're statistics orientated, multivariate regression/correlation and putting systems together is a virgo wonderland. satisfies our need to organise

non-verbal is 90% of communication

so the more information the more evidence

especially from those that dont speak

"Truth Wizards". Many are ATF agents.

Psychologists searched for them for years.

Persons who have cultivated their gift of/are highly adept at "reading" others/detecting deception.

Quickly picking up on gestures, microexpressions, verbal clues (changes in pitch, etc.), can tell you what emotions are in play before you even realize you have them - they are clued in. They MORE than pay attention.

All this ^^^ coupled with what's in their gut.

Most times however, it's not really in what you say, but in what you don't say.

When someone is so into a subject, I love to ask different questions and contradict him just to see the reaction - what kind of answer does he gives, how open minded is he, does his voice change, and turn him upside down with lot of questions sometimes genuine sometimes stupid. Some people get nervous and just say "you don't understand me" (something like you're stupid, why am I trying to explain it to you?) other put so much passion, others just reveal themselves or get so pissed off. And all I can do is analyze and pick up the conclusions about that person 🙂. It's cute and fun.

zodiac and astrology haha

since you can do astrology, you should be able to ease into psychology. a whiteboard and marker are really good tools. or just use your window

it might seem scary but its swallowable, if you have passion, you will do it

you look at a mountain and think how can i climb it?

when you take the first step, you feel the one step is easier than the rest of the mountain

the next step will seem easier than the rest of the mountain, and so will every subsequent step

then you're atop the mountain, funny that

assessing you, you are probably the same type as me so dont write words, draw something and be the system

That's a good metaphor definitely with the 'where do you even start?' notions.
Don't be the system ?
Or don't do words, paint a picture in your head and become the system (instead of staying gamey? 😛)
I think you meant the former, that's what I'd go with.

sorry, it should mean dont use words

instead draw a diagram and be the system
