Horoscopes and Driving

Alright, so I thought I might ask about your experiences with drivers of different signs. I have grouped them by opposites.

Capricorn and Cancer : The term we use locally is "heavy foot", which means that these signs often brake really hard, making the ride very jerky. Great drivers but not smooth, lacking in finesse.

Virgo and Pisces : The Need For Speed, bahahaha. I know many of us have attested to driving fast on the Virgo bored but I got a drop home from a Pisces dude the other night and he was blazing down the 40mph road at over 120mph. It was fun. Oh and I had an August 24th friend and heard of a September 2nd guy, both of whom were drag racers, so yeah. Seems we like to go fast.

Aries and Libra : Not that much experience with these two... Aggressive and talkative behind the wheel. They make bold drives, which could lead to ending up in drains or ditches...

Gemini and Sagittarius : Distracted Drivers. Not only do they talk but they also observe people and things in other cars, sidewalk, allies, parks, hell anything. My Gem uncle always turns his head to watch a fine lady on the sidewalk when he drives past, granted a lot of men do, including myself, but damn, he does it without fail. Sag seem to like to make short reversing and three point turns a spectacle with speedy movement.

Aquarius and Leo : Again... not too much experience. But my Aqua uncles have a thing for making very elaborate and complex drives. They like to reverse down hills, tight spots and do so with speed and flare. They generally seem to enjoy driving and can be speedy as well. No idea if this relates to Leos.

Taurus and Scorpio : No clue... laid back and easy going? I really don't know. Never had an experience.

I am scared as hell to go very fast...

I can definitely attest to this being correct for me! I love to drive fast and get irritated when I have to slow down or deal with people going under speed limit! Even with that I am a very careful driver and get complimented by people who drive with me. I can't parallel park though...lol.

Aries and cap very responsible great drivers,
Leos are fun: their add and the desire to dance in the car makes for an interesting experience, cautious drivers.

I love to dance in the car. I wonder if that's my Leo influence?

For me the craziest at the wheels have been: Aquas, Scorp, Aries,and Libra.

Sounds very plausible.

As do I, that doesn't mean I don't enjoy driving fast from time to time 🙂

Hmmm, if the weather is nice and the roads clear I have a lead foot. In the winter it's the complete opposite. I go very slow, take my time. I figure the object is to get somewhere alive, it's the other goobers on the road I worry about. I blame the cusp.

I drive very fucking fast. I drive blasting music very fucking loud. I drive air guitaring. I drive 100 on the freeway when i have the home boys in the car with me. I drive and honk at people on the streets and have the home boys shout out some random obscentity. I drive and dance to music *cajun your not alone* but when my dad use to get into the car with me i would drive like an old bitch. He's a scorpio.

Taurus and scorpio- Drive like old cautious grandparents. *My mother - taurus and my father - scorpio*

That about summaries me too, minus the profanity lol

The most conservative driver I know is my ex-gf, a Cancer... she always drives the speed limit, used to hog the passing lane and it took me years to "mostly" break her of that horrible habit. She is not able to judge distance very well or something as someone can brake a half mile in front of her, and she'll hit her brakes too -groan-.

I got a ticketed at age 16 for doing 75 in a 55 (I was actually doing 95, but the cop cut me some slack). Living in Texas for a couple of years helped to slow me down because they are SERIOUS about nailing speeders down there, heh. Then driving for Schneider trucking for a year, where they insisted all drivers go no more than 55, and I was stuck in a truck with no cruise control... and a computer to keep tabs on my speed... it's ingrained now... I usually do the limit or five over max... unless traffic is moving fast... if everyone is doing 80, so am I.

I have very fast driving reflexes, and know in an instant if someone brakes in front of me, where I'll need to go or what I'll need to do to avoid a problem... that Cancer gal... when I was driving, she was always cringing, looking for a brake pedal on the passenger side... etc... LOL. I've never been in an accident that was my fault, and have rarely had accidents period. I haven't had a speeding ticket since that one time in 1976, heh. Tho I've had one for "Failure to yield" in 1983, and a couple of warning for a brake light out etc... over the years. Maybe I've just been lucky.

Now my Cappy brother and Cappy friend? Both speeders... BIG time. I think my brother has been lucky so far... don't recall him getting any tickets recently... but the friend... gets a couple speeding tickets a year at least.

I love driving fast 😄

I ditched my Audi A4 for a Mustang GT -- 'nuff said.

I hope you're staying out of trouble DY, LOL.

I worked for an after market automotive shop once, and we had to drive out to pick up cars at dealerships, take them to our shop, and return them later... I got to drive several Mustang GT's... with big V-8's and.... it was awesome... If I owned one... I'd be getting a LOT of speeding tickets I think, LOL.

A couple of years ago, my little brother loaned his Hummer to his bro-inlaw and in return, got the inlaws Lotus for a day... we took it for a drive... went out on the expressway... I think we briefly got it up to 140 in 5th gear? I had six gears if I remember right... just too damned fast, LOL. I got to drive it too... like a motocross motorcycle... I had to keep the RPM's up in the power range to keep it from bogging... AWESOME. Another car I'd get a lot of tickets with if I owned one, heh.

Same. I miss my old Toyota at those times tho... because that old SOB had balls! That 4 cylinder, 1986 truck had some serious power... this '97 Ford Ranger I have now... is a dog. It's comfy... I love it.. but, its 4 cylinder engine is ... sluggish compared to the Toy's 4 cylinder. I could hit 90+ in the Toy in the time it takes the Ford to hit 60.

I dislike extremely fast drivers who are not mindful of the people around them. Everyone has someone out there to loves them and would miss them if they were suddenly gone and that's how I remind myself to not drive too fast.

that's funny. i drive fast because i find that most slow drivers are not mindful of the people around them, and i drive fast so i can get past them quickly and maneuver easily should they drift into my lane or turn into oncoming traffic or hit their breaks for absolutely no reason.

i haven't really observed the driving habits of others much, at least not by sign. i do know...

my leo mom should not ever drive because she's got crazy anxiety. she's actually stopped driving, and rides a bike to work and such. i've never known a leo to be a good driver.

libras seem like dangerous drivers, but few i've known have been in accidents or even been ticketed. i also know that i drive exactly like my recently deceased libra grandmother. right down to the barefeet. if i am talking to a passenger or on the phone, i am way worse to listen to than usual, because i'm focused on the road and not paying any attention to my weird stream of consciousness talking.

tauruses make me want to kill them if i am their passenger. they drive slowly. they act too calm. they don't signal. and many don't wear their seatbelts.

cancers scare me because they often drive drunk. and if not drunk, still tend to be dangerous because they don't pay attention to others.

Been riding with the wrong Bulls curious. Always wear my belt, as do the children. We go nowhere till everyone is locked in. Signal every time, people who don't irk me to no end. ( Or the turn signal on since 1954 ). And if it's an open highway I like SPEED, the wind in my hair, the possible collision, the gently clipped deer.. 😉

^ well, now that i think of it, the only ones i've personally known have been male. so maybe that'd explain the disparity.

HA!!! I'm by far an aggressive driver.... I actually like to have my space on the road so that I have time to react to people driving around me. The only problem I have is a speeding problem, but I've slowed down since they suspended my license.

And I'm not that talkative while driving... I like to crank up my music and drive. I really love driving... road trips are def. up my alley!!!!

hahaha.... I was just reading that. My momma is a scorp, and she will drive 45 on the highway. But she was involved in a serious car accident when she was preggers with me where she almost died, so she is also very scared to drive and get into a wreck.

I would rather that she feels safe and in control, because when she's not, her neurotic side kicks in, and that's never a good thing.....

Taurus here.

I'm no maniac and I rarely drive above 100mph because that's just dangerous!

But I definitely am no granny behind the wheel. To be honest I never bother
to check for speed limits ( unless there's a cop around 😄 ) or my speedometer for
that matter. I like to drive as fast as the road permits me too.

My passengers may describe my driving as a bit reckless heheh but I'm always
alert and have quick reactions... so whether I drive on the opposite lane as a
shortcut or run some signs or lights here and there.. fear not, it's all thought out lol

You can criticize me when you see me yapping away on my cell or texting while
at the wheel!


Scorpio.

I know at least 3 Scorpios who drive slow enough to make you want to get out of
the car and just run to your destination. Good chances you'd get there first.

Virgos.

Good drivers. Not too fast, not too slow. Jusssst right 🙂

Cancers.

Good drivers. May at times get too happy behind the wheel... yikes!
