virgos and our huge temper

Are Virgos Known for Having a Large Temper

Virgos can have intense tempers that surface under stress or provocation. While they are generally calm and detail-oriented, their frustration can become noticeable when pushed too far. Understanding Virgo traits helps explain this side of their personality and shows that their anger is often controlled and specific to certain situations.

RAGING FURY resides inside me.
Anger is one of the few emotions that are hard to control.

That's the problem.

In psychology, they say that anger is a secondary emotion that masks what the primary emotion is, aka what is really upsetting us.

I had major anger issues growing up. It was about 2 years ago that I went and sought help for it, because it would be out of control, and there was no telling what would set me off. I was almost sent to jail because of my anger, and that's when I started realizing that it was inhibiting me from progressing forward.

What do you think causes your raging fury? When do you feel it the most?

Mostly people disappointing me.
Even after being educated AND knowing better.

It doesn't take long to control it like the rest of the emotions. Just think about this way, if whoever is disturbing you persist show'em a bit of what resides you then they'll calm their ass, and you'll get the peace you need. Just take baby steps caj.

I held it all in during the angsty teen years. I have much better control over it now, but man, is it a powerful thing.

Nahhhh, seavixen, he's actually pissed off about this Aries chick who banged him for two days but now won't even answer his texts. And apparently, in their short "relationship" he still managed to not only make comments about "another hot girl" but also that the Aries likes it when he calls her - but he still wouldn't do it, even though they wouldn't see each other unless he did. Oh, and that the Aries chick didn't give him the blowjob she promised him... or something equally craptastic.

So he's mentioned at least two different Pisces girls on the Pisces boards, two Caps on the Cap boards, and an Aries on the Aries boards. And now he THINKS he knows something about Virgos? *eyeroll*

He's a pig. An ignorant one. That is all.

For me, if I'm pushed too far, I'm gonna go off. No holds barred. People may not like it, but if you're constantly in my face don't complain when I get back in yours. It takes a while to get me to that point, but I CAN get to that point.

I would say I don't have much of a temper.

I am a september virgo too.

when I do get angry I feel it inside mostly as if it's ready to come out in masses.

but my temper mostly effects myself than those around me.

when I do lose my temper with someone it is often done so under control and ordered that it doesn't even appear like I am angry, but for some reason that works better for me than going nuts!!

however when I do go Nuts I drive around in my car yelling profanities to myself in all manner of ways.

Dr Zhivirgo cannot speak to animals like Dr Doolittle (however wishes he could understand Scorpio)

I definitely have a quiet temper that just seethes and boils under the surface. I'm usually pretty fair about everything and laid-back, but when continually pushed, I can just snap. It takes so much for me to get violent but when I am pushed that far, I slam doors, I'm livid, and I say things that I often wouldn't say out loud; when I'm at that point, my only intention is to have that person know that they've reached a bad point with me and he or she needs to realize that you do not mess with me just because I'm usually kind and understanding. Usually I really surprise people when I get that angry, which is incredibly rare. When I'm not completely pissed off, I have this really snarky, sarcastic attitude, where I seem really calm, but what I say can cut like a hot knife.
.
A lot of the time, my anger just sort of collapses inward, and I end up crying instead. It usually takes some time for me to collect myself again when extremely upset, so I usually go off on my own because I'm always so drained afterward.

Wow!! There really are alot of similarities between a virgo and a scorp.

I can agree with this. Virgos are usually very quiet until pushed too far; although, the only difference I think is tht scorps are probably more likely to actively seek some sort of revenge or "bite back" in their own way. Virgos just sort of lash out at their peak and put the issue behind them afterward.

I'm a Leo/Virgo male cusp, I agree, it take alooooooot of stuff that I HATE, I'll keep it calm for a really really long time. But when I do snap WOE TO YOU SUCKA, IMMA SNAP LIKE A STEEL BAR. Then I usually feel bad for freakin so bad, then I"m just ready to forget about it. 🙂

Virgos can look like sore losers, but it's only because we always have good intentions to start with and if you do us wrong in our mind we will think you're disrespecting us.

Well, interestingly, Bill O'Reilly's moon is also in Aries, his Mars is in Leo, and his N. Node is in Leo. He's influenced by fire (and their fiery tempers!) quite a bit, so ummmm . . . where to place the blame? I blame those fiery, loud-mouthed Sagittarians . . . . because that's exactly where my moon is, lol!

My Virgo sister fought nearly every week of her life as a kid all the way up to her teenage years. Of course, I'm exaggerating a bit, but she's been in a ton of fights. One thing I can say about Virgos; You all are usually never scared to get physical. Her Mars is in Capricorn, so I'm wondering if that plays a part in her quickness to act without fear? I'm a Capricorn sun and my mother would fuss at me for not defending her, but it was just too much growing up. I would feel like we couldn't go anywhere without her getting into it with someone. She's toned down a lot, but she admits that she blacks-out when she fights, which is a scary thought. She's very cool and likeable, so 90% of the time she's pushed in that direction.

Expressing anger is the easiest emotion for Virgos to get out .. and they will do it for many reasons besides just being angry.

Frustration looks like anger .... disappointment .. I've even seen them look angry when they are sad. So, for those non-Virgos outside looking in ... often when you see the expression of anger, it is something else they are feeling.

Again .. this is just the easiest for them to get out. Virgo, for the most part, finds it a daily struggle to get out how they feel.

My Virgo husband, rarely gets angry .. I mean actually angry. His family says he was angry all the time as a kid and I doubt this because I've lived with him for 28 years, and I know he is rarely angry ... they just saw him vent off irritation and took it as anger.

He's an August born ... if that makes a difference.

It takes a lot for me to get to an all out argue/yell fest. If something bothers me, I can get angry, but I just don't allow it to take over me. I'd rather have calm communication rather than an arguement. I want to solve it, get over it and move on. I hilarious watching someone else make an a $ $ of themselves, tripping over their own feet while they bust a vein in their forehead.....'Are you finished?' I ask, LoL. It doesn't take all of that. The virgos that I know don't get rowdy like that either.

If someone were to make me anger to the point of yelling, then that means that they are REALLY about to get their feelings smashed. I don't like for it to get to that point.

It takes a lot to set me off but when it happens, the verbal lashing I spew is something that can still surprise me at times. I tend to be mainly passive aggressive, but I'm trying to work on it. As far as physical violence goes, I've come close but never crossed that line.

they're almost always like this in their youth. i think by age 30 they are able to contain their crazy.

virgos, by definition, are psychos/psychopaths. their opposite is pisces...by definition insane. pisces "rules" emotion. by virtue of being its opposite, virgo "rules" thought. virgo is therefore devoid of tangible emotions. it takes them years before they are able to grasp these obscure things we normal folk call "feelings."

in youth, virgos have little to no affect or pure rage. for some, like your sister, the rage is uncontrollable. for others, it's far more contained but it comes out in fairly regular intervals.

if you witnessed this rage or been subject of it, it's quite scary. not in a "oh my goodness, i might get my ass whooped" sorta way, but rather in a "oh my god, are you lucid? do i need to call 'the people' on you?"

what makes virgo anger crazed/psychotic is the lack of connection with their feelings...or yours. they are perpetually unable to process others feelings until they embrace a more piscean stance with regard to relations. thus, after one of their rages, don't be surprised if they go about their business as if nothing has occurred. they're so disconnected from their emotions that they don't realize how fucking nuts they appear to the rest of the world.

in time however, they learn to differentiate various types of feelings and emotions. at this point, they become psychopaths. it's not that they truly empathize with you or have an understanding of their own feelings, it's just that they have become better at imitating normal human reactions...they've THOUGHT their way through their feelings/emotions and have ascribed the appropriate social response to normal human interactions.
