Issues with my Virguy...

Howdy everybody!

My bf is a virgo guy with a cancer moon. We have been dating for about 9 months now and its a serious relationship. His first relationship which was a couple of years back his girlfriend cheated on him and I dont think he has ever gotten over the betrayal. He says that it wasnt a serious relationship. Im a taurus and we have an amazing relationship. He says that Im the love of his life and he wouldnt be able to find anyone who could compare with me. But the issue of cheating repeats over and over. I havent done anything to make him not trust me but he doesnt. He says this openly, he said that it wasnt that he thought that I would cheat but just that its a possibility. He has never accused me of anything, but I feel that I have to walk over eggshells around him. He has a low opinion of women generally, most of them in his opinion are attention whores, fake and full of BS. He has such a lovely, caring, romantic side but sometimes this hating, cold, untrusting person comes out.

Sometime I wonder if he does love me because how can you love someone you dont trust? Is this a healthy relationship? Can this person be someone I want to spend the rest of my life with?


So is there any Virgos or girls who date/dated Virgo guys who can offer me any advice? Any knowledge of the inner workings of the Virgo psyche?

i'm very sensitive because i do draw upon previous experience too. but as a virgo i'm always testing if what i'm sensing is valid, true, and reasonable before making any deductions and conclusions

the best thing you can do (and the only thing you should do) is be completely transparent so he can analyse to see for himself. that will gain his trust

show him you understand (maybe because you also experienced it). constantly mention that you need someone you can trust and not have to worry about betrayal so that you can focus on your profession. this will demonstrate that he's safe with you because you really seek the common path that you can take together.

there was something else i wanted to suggest but my brain is really tired and will only tell you chemistry instead of relevant relationship analysis haha

Of course not! I have no intention of doing that, that's the whole problem...
