It amazes me that ......

.. we have space stations, we can do face transplants, we can solve intricate/complex mathematical equations ....



.. but, we consistently fail to grasp feelings when it involves us.


We can look at other people and know PRECISELY what something means ... but, once we have our own feelings .. we become complete idiots.


No wonder we cannot stop wars .... we feel, therefore we are morons to help ourselves.

People are learn at an early age not to care about your self because that is selffish blah blah but this is good to some degree. Because you can't help anyone if you can't help your self.

Oh yeah...I have thought pretty much the same thing over the last couple of years. For some reason, when you're the one that's involved, it's like you're so wrapped up in it that it can be hard to detach yourself and see what is really going on. I've certainly been guilty of this in the past haha...

Sometimes I wonder though, why it is that some people find it easier to detach from their feelings than others? Is it conditioning, the way we were raised etc? Or is it that some people truly lack the capability to do so? Or that some people do indeed "feel" more than others? Is it just that those people haven't learned (how to) yet? I do wonder...

I'm pretty certain it has to do with the crumbled planet that used to be orbiting between Mars and Jupiter, but, now is the asteriod belt. In theory, there should be a planet there .. instead though we have just a massive asteroid belt .. and I believe that this used to be a planet.

In this belt we have Juno, Vest, and mainly Ceres.


Ceres represents our adult relationships ... though Venus is all about our initial attractions to other people, Juno is the commitment, is about marriage and partnerships.


I believe that this planet was destroyed somehow, and that is was our most emotional planet and now we just have little fractured pieces ... like us.


Once we feel for a mate, we are like little fractured pieces.

Well everything you list is based on someone discovering something and making an equation, process, etc, which is then published and followed. Maybe we need some kind of empirical formulation for the human feelings, emotions ...

However, these feelings are probably the reasons these wonderful discoveries are made in the first place, if we were to consistently start grasping each feelings and immediately help ourselves, will we be able to continue to discover things or evolve?

Plus DXP will not be fun! the horror

i wonder if you mean feelings or emotions? i think it's our emotions that sometimes get in the way of our logical thinking. i can feel physical pain when my knee hurts, but i don't really get a sense of mourning, depression or sadness. it is what it is, joint pain. but if someone says something to me that is berating, especially if that person is someone i care about, that can cause me emotional pain.

Emotions are part of being human. I value that. And i can't imagine being a person who has to be so perfect all the time, they don't allow themselves to be emotional. that is sad imho.

Even my two german shepherds show emotion. I think many pets do in their own way. the beauty and blessing about being a human is that we have free will to think for ourselves and have emotions part of our unique equation each day. if we didn't have emotion, we'd be like robots or vulcans. how boring would that be? we'd have no one to figure out. and this board wouldn't exist. LOL

btw, do emotions play a part in wars? to some extent. but most wars, if you really study them historically, they are BROUGHT about because of money, power and the desire to control.
