Now I have read countless times that Virgo prefer to settle with a mousy woman..however reality dictates otherwise.

I have seen many:
Virgo/Scorp
Virgo/Sag
Virgo/Leo

In the above instances Virgo = male

These women aren't mousy by any stretch of the imagination..

So Virgo's what is your real preference for? Mousy or Mouthy? and I mean mouthy as in strong women, not afraid to speak their mind women..not trashy mouthy..eeek yuck..

Ooo.. Virgo/Scorp good. Virgo/Leo good. Virgo/Sag ugh, rarely works as well as Gemini/Aries according to "zodiac compatibility" rules. My dad is a Sag and we are always at odds with each other in terms of how we think. My roommate is a Gemini and very "all over the place" with two distinct personalities. My girlfriends, the best ones are Scorpios and I had a roommate in the past who was a Leo. Pretty good relationship.

I can only guess what a Virgo man wants from experience. They want a woman who:

is intelligent - likes reading, thinking and the art of good conversation - makes an appearance that is well put together (beautifully mannered, poised) - noble at heart - quiet, refined and classic air about you - maintains her figure - has sensuality that is not sexual, not maternal, but comforting, earthy and entirely your own - has finely tuned wit, gives mental stimulation - has good taste - never blunders in the bedroom, kitchen or office - is attractive aesthetically - can challenge him, let him make you laugh and above all talk - knows what she wants in life and is independent, but also is open to having fun - who knows how to accept that it's okay for an independent woman to sometimes need a man (by wanting input, advice, helpful constructive criticism)- who understands that he is not an overly emotional man, but deep and shows his emotions/love through kind actions and sex and who appreciates him and in turn reciprocates.

Don't crowd him, or be possessive - you can't even spell the word.
Don't push the relationship too fast.
Don't force him to be a party animal.
Have other interests and pursuits - job, hobbies, etc.
Be comfortable around him - like you've known him for years. Friendship with a man is possible.
Do not be completely available.

How's that? Instead of mouthy or mousy? 🙂

Women who have their own ideas, and have no problem expressing those ideas, are the best long-term match for me - as long as they don't talk all the damn time!

My SEPT 8th Virgo Dad married a Leo. I'm married to a Scorpio. The Virgo man I admire most after my Dad is married to an Aries. None of these women are "shrinking violets" - they have no trouble telling you like it is...

Yes I agree with most of the posts here..

For those who are confused about the term "mousy"..it means Libra..LOL..no backbone, just go along with whatever the man suggests, submissive..so in other words..shrinking violet as Dy put it..

I haven't seen too many Virgo/Sag couplings..I don't think the Virgo would trust Sag enough in my opinion..My good virgo friend (female) had such a tumultuous relationship with a sag guy..eventually got him to the alter and he refused to marry her on the day..how tragic..what a bastard..always sat on the fence..
