What we may not see as negative, someone else can. We all know we are going to be lenient when it comes to our own perspective about ourselves. Very seldom do we as humans acknowledge our flaws and address them in a healthy way.

Virgos do

Instead, we find every excuse under the sun to be way we are, just to justify them. When we want to see what we look like, we look in the mirror at our reflection. If we see a flaw in our image, it's up to us to change that. Working on your personal flaws is difficult, because it requires to be honest (just like that mirror reflection).

True.

For someone to go out of their way to take the time to help you correct a potentially dangerous and/or negative personal flaw speaks volumes about how that person honestly feels about you IF they are trying to make you a better person. People who don't give two craps about you could care less if you walk around all jacked up. It's funny but I hear a lot of people complain about "oh he/she is trying to change this and that about me", yet they don't see that person's motives were purely in their best interest.

Amen sister... Amen!
And you're a Taurus? Amazing!

I wish more people could understand this...

I think she deserves honourary enrollment into the "Virgo Book of Worthy Wives"

No such book exists for Virgos, hence ranked the highest number of available bachelors on planet earth. 😉

It is a secret book... one of our most prized hidden possessions. It exists only for exceedingly well educated women "who get Virgos", such as yourself 😉

Mars.In.Aries is right.

If you look around wisely with open eyes, you will see only three forms of relationships. Authoritative or submissive change or get ready to be changed.

The 3rd one is....... Well you guys are too young, too idealistic, too horny to know about it anyway.

Yes, I see it. I completely agree with you.... but both males and females are guilty of it.

What really perplexes me is this, and I'll revert to my original question.

The first part.... try and change the person who is playing games. You know full well that this person is toxic, so allowing that person into your life and trying to change them means that you must have to include self-destruction into this equation. What is the fasination of someone completely belittling you? Is the urge to try and change someone that strong that you will tolerate it, even when equating destruction into your rationalization?

The second part....... try with the person you know can't change.

Perhaps my choice of the word "can't" isn't what I intended. This person HAS changed, for the better, and won't revert back to old ways. Does the Virgo admire this person for their personal achievements? If this person is self-analytical and fixes things on their own, does this leave little to no room for the Virgo?

We are constantly changing beings. That is part of life. But if someone is stuck in their ways and is manipulating you, why exert the energy? Why not give that amount of energy to someone that can help you grow and change?

It can't be because of "love". Love is acceptance, but love isn't about hurting. If that person is playing games with you and hurting you, then what does that say about you as a person?

LOL! Learus it's called "taurus time"....and I agree with your comments...most taurus's don't really "get virgo" until either they've matured a bit or some crisis hits, then they suddenly realized what a truely fabulous lot they really are. I completely understand your harsh behavior with them, because I reacted the same way when I was young (like in high school). It wasn't until college that I realized how much they have impacted my life (this pertains to the virgo's in my family of course) and I've said this many times but, I've yet to meet a virgo I haven't liked...except maybe the dean of my faculty who's just nut's!!!....loveable....but nuts! Anyways sista, it's sad to hear that your leavin', but like you said you gotta get back to doin' you, so I send you a warm "farewell you won't be forgotten" taurus hug **huuuuuuuugggggg** and regardless of what life throws at you don't ever compromise your oh-so-sexy taurus self! best wishes!... btw(your comments always made me smile)

Oh! and I think Sorti mistook you for me when he asked if your the one with the virgo guy...no sorti that's me
