Astrologyzone.com's Virgo Monthly Horoscope

Have I interrupted your celebration, dear Virgo? Is that a chilled glass of champagne I see in your hand? You deserve to be happy. Late last month, on July 21, Saturn finally left Virgo, after having been touring your sign since September 2007. While Saturn made a brief sojourn into Libra from the end of October 2009 to the start of April of 2010, for all practical purposes, you've had Saturn as your steady companion.

What made this particular visit of Saturn so unrelenting was its simultaneous opposition to transiting Uranus in Pisces. The two planets have locked horns in a rare and continual battle since November 2008. That was like having a double dose of trouble, and your health, close relationships, and other parts of life suffered.

The Libras among us, as well as those with Libra rising, may be a bit worried. They saw the severe challenges you were going through. Tell your Libra friends that they have little to fear. Your situation was as unusual and rare, and nothing quite like what you suffered through will be due again until 2056. I feel God only tests his favorites. You just finished the advanced course in boot camp - and now you are done.

Saturn, the planet of hard work and respect gained through the taking on of heavy responsibilities, never bestows rewards DURING his transit. He will always leave a gift by the door upon his departure. You can expect a reward very soon, possibly as soon as the new moon in Virgo next month on September 8. It will take a few weeks to feel the difference, for Saturn will take a few weeks to set up shop. Still, there's a good chance you are feeling relief.

Uranus, the planet that gave you problems with health and relationships, will soon be out of your hair, too. By March 2011, Uranus will move on, never to come back to Pisces in your lifetime. You have been dealing with this planet since 2003 continuously, and only had a tiny break from him from recently, May 27 to August 14 of this year.

Technically, Virgos born from September 17-23 are still feeling the heat. If you were named in that birthday span, that's because Uranus is now at the tail end of his visit to Pisces, a sign precisely 180 degrees from yours. Uranus will re-enter Pisces on August 14 and stay until early next year. Once you reach March 2011, you'll not have Uranus to taunt you ever again. Uranus takes 84 years to circle the Sun, so as you see, this chapter of your life is about to close, forever. It will be a time of great celebration. You have paid your dues, dear Virgo - times two!

Now let's turn to August, sure to be a wild and wooly time for everyone, of every sign. On June 26 we saw a major lunar eclipse in Capricorn. Many planets were being drawn into a grand cross pattern at that time, but they would not reach perfect calibration - and a perfect cardinal cross pattern - until this month, on August 6 and 7. A cardinal cross happens when there are planets in a perfect square box pattern, all in the same classification of "cardinal," which is Aries, Libra, Cancer, and Capricorn.

We have never seen such an extreme cross in the sky involving so many planets, and we will not see anything like this again. When planets are in a cross, they are "square" each other, as well as opposed to each other, and this creates enormous tension in order to create necessary change. The cardinal cross will ferret out weak links - anything strong will not be affected. Everyone has cardinal signs on some of the cusps of their chart, and for Virgo, that's the financial and social houses. First, let me show you what I see.

Jupiter and Uranus in Aries will be in one corner of the box, and Mars, Venus, and Saturn will be in the Libra, in the corner directly opposed. All those planets will be in your two financial houses.

Then in the other two corners of the perfect square pattern, we will have Pluto in Capricorn opposing the transiting moon in Cancer in the opposite corner. Each corner of the square will have at least one planet, and all the planets will be within five tiny degrees of each other, considered a very tight aspect, and that's enormously significant. Each set of planets will be 90 degrees from each of the others, and on August 6 and 7 we will have ten squares and seven oppositions, all at once! All the planets involved will be in cardinal signs (Aries, Libra, Cancer, and Capricorn), known to be very energetic and to create a need for urgent action.

In the financial world, most astrologers feel the stock market will rock, either because of an event that takes place, or because the market will become emotional and less than confident. The best approach for you is to be very conservative in investments. Have a meeting with your broker and do some creative "what if?" to find the solution you feel most comfortable about taking.

This configuration will create much tension in general, but the good part about this is that conditions will reach an end point or crisis regarding certain conditions. Facts will have to be faced and a plan developed for the future. Squares, in particular, create an enormous amount of energy, so rather than feel frozen, you will feel called to action. You will have all the tools you need to come up with a solution, too, for squares give you that.

Almost all the little planets will jump into the fray, but there will be two heavenly bodies that will stand at the sidelines - the Sun in Leo and Mercury in Virgo. You must be happy to hear Mercury will not be involved, for that suggests you will remain calm and may be asked to help others, not necessarily coping with a crisis that affects you directly.

Still, Mercury, this major planet of communication, transportation, shipping, and commerce, is due to go retrograde from August 20 to September 12. Most often we only feel the impending slowdown two weeks ahead, but this time you will feel the effect a little longer, from August 1 onward. This means the whole month of August will bring an atmosphere that will impede productivity.

How will the cardinal cross affect you? Finances is one big area that will need attention. It appears your expenses will be very high this month, due to the presence of Mars in your second house. Last month, on July 30, Mars opposed Uranus in your two financial houses, so you may have received jarring news about money that you will be coping with as you begin August.

With Saturn, Venus, and Mars in your fifth house of earned income, and Uranus and Jupiter in your eighth house of other people's money, money may be pouring in but it is also pouring out a very rapid rate.

Lol it would be if I didn't think horoscopes were bullshit. That's the part of astrology I DON'T like. But, it was fun seeing what they said and laughing about it.

LOL, I'm usually skeptical about them (there's a few sites that try so hard that I go to, to--just like you, laugh at how wrong they always seem to be)

But...don't laugh...the Facebook horoscope? It never lets me down (O_O) it's ALWAYS right for me! It's scary!

"Every contact you have with someone affects the both of you, sometimes in a major way, and sometimes in a very tiny way, but the change occurs and even when it is subtle it is permanent, Virgo. Even when events intervene with exchanges between you and someone else, this intervention has an effect on both of you. So be aware that you may need to keep the lines of communication with others open today, and try to work your way around any disruptions that may occur, because positive changes are happening now, but only result from this interchange between you and another.

You are going through a period, Virgo, where secrets are going to play a role when it comes to romance. This is a time where secrets and mysteries are in fact very appealing, and may mark for some positive outcomes for you. This is a case where you will receive clarity on the bigger picture and you will learn more about what is making someone close to you tick. Healing will come today when you understand the perspective of someone else, and this unexpected turn of events is going to pave the way for some romantic progress for you."

That's the 2nd sign I'm around--but they're more aggressive than Pisces, so it's easier to decide if it's good for us to be in each other's lives quicker. It's usually not, LOL! They're too emotional for me, I've had many come crying to me like little boys--and we're talking grown men in their 40's. Nothing wrong with crying, but the reasons they'd come crying were like "wow...really?"

And they're little hornballs; I had a Cancer ex I dated for about a year, and one weekend we were chilling out and he asked if I wanted a hotdog. I said "sure! sounds good" and he went into the kitchen, and came back with his erect member between a hotdog bun.

I mean, it was hot...but that's not the point!!! lol. Lil freaky deaks.

Hahaha, my moon is in scorpio, so emotion is something I understand... probably to an extent even I don't like. With this cancer I'm talking to now, we were being intimate one night, and he like started divulging like all of his secrets to me haha. I was completely caught off guard and a little scared, but for some reason it was really comforting. I think I enjoy water signs because I can seem so unemotional, yet the one thing I want is to be able to connect that way, and a lot of the guys I've dated I haven't had that. And I have NOTHING wrong with them being horny... I mean... I'd be lying if I said I wasn't horny all the time, too. Hahaha.

Those cancer guys are super freaks.. Sheesus..

Oh, don't get me wrong--the neighbors knew both our names after I walked my "hotdog" back to the bedroom, but I did shake my head at him while folding my arms condescendingly. Bad crab. BAD BAD BAD CRAB!

Right there with you on all of that. When people say "Virgos are unemotional/cold" I'm like "guess I'm not a Virgo??"

I feel things way too much. I can't even begin to tell of all the psychic occurances I've had in my lifetime, and no one in my family seems shocked that I picked up the tarot cards at 15 and have been reading them since. I don't know...it's just scary/freaky.

I get along with water signs for the same reason--they feel comfortable with me. If you let me in, really trust me, you can believe that I will not judge you or throw your revelations back into your face. I don't do the "holier than thou" act, I own up to my mistakes when I make 'em, and while I might not be as outwardly emotional as water signs w/the tears, I'm beating up on myself on the inside the way they do.

We connect up until it comes time to take a dream and make it into reality; I'm already drawing up

I know exactly what you mean, and I think that's something I battle too. There's a lot of me that wants things cut and paste, set in stone, drawn out and agreed upon, but there is another part that is so in my head and reliving memories and feeling that I couldn't care for the solidness of the relationship. So when my virgo part ones things set and down, it sort of conflicts. I'm having the same issue now. I really enjoy where I'm at with the cancer guy I'm talking too, but there is a part of me that wants to draw the blueprints and to get it right. Ironically, the things I want, stability and what not, come from people that can't give me everything. So, I'm left feeling closed off and uncertain when that's what I shouldn't have. And when there is already a storm brewing inside of me, and a huge storm at that, I can't even let it go. I'm not even outwardly emotional, but even if I don't show it, I want someone who is able to tap into it and to show me that it's okay to let it go.

I made a thread ages ago about how it was even hard for me to tell someone that I missed him because I become tongue-tied when it comes to my emotions. But with this cancer, I was able to, and it felt like a huge milestone for me. hahahaha.

It's def. hard for us to open up to people, and express our feelings, because that's just like walking through a minefield with your beating heart held out in your hands...it's like just throwing caution to the wind while giving no care to the fact that you're pretty much tempting cruel fate with your actions. We find it hard to let go, because we seek control--maybe not control over others, but control over situations we find ourselves in, and--moreso, control over ourselves in those given situations.

Water signs have a way of making you feel like you've known each other for ages. They're just so open about things when you're in the heat of passionate conversation--only downfall is the fact that they have a tendency to exaggerate the truth/outright lie if they feel the truth isn't interesting enough to share (I've been lied to by a lot of water signs; how much money they made, where they've been in the world, what they've done, etc. None of these things impress me, but they seem to feel the need to tell me, and I always find out they're lies. It makes me doubt them after that).

I know what you mean about milestones...I have NEVER...EVERRR envisioned myself getting married. I was THAT little girl, who wasn't thinking of her wedding day, or bridesmaids, or wedding dresses, or honeymoons...I just didn't see it happening. I've had strong relationships, not-so-strong ones, long ones, short ones, highly-compatible ones, not-so-compatible ones, ones that made sense, ones that didn't...I have never, however, felt the whole marriage vibe...until I met this Pisces. It scared the sh.it out of me to alwawys be imagining not only being married to him, but having a kid with him...but I always was/am...

It's just someting fluid about them, something just easy-flowing about them that allows us earth signs to loosen the f up. It's wonderful, like a drug.
