Virgo in love pushes you away.

I have been reading about this: when Virgo men are in love, they push you away. I don't get the logic behind this.
My Virgo guy was like that when he first admitted he loved me. He just ran away!!! And I had to do the searching and chasing.
Also, why are you hot and suddenly cold and so distant?

I don't find it logical that thing..isn't it, when you love someone, you try your best to be with the person and not push her away?

Not speaking as a Virgo male but a female. Maybe you didn't give him the reassurance that he was looking for, so he backed away. We want to know that someone is on the same wavelength as we are. If we are not a 100% sure that you are, the pulling away begins. It's a way of protecting ourselves. We pull away to go back within ourselves and heal. We do hurt easily once there are feelings attached to someone.

Not only that, but as I'm sure you have read, we can be very independent and self-sufficient. Feeling weak is not something a Virgo likes to feel at all! I don't know what your reaction was to him when he told you he loved you, but maybe it wasn't what he was expecting but maybe he backed away to regroup and think. We are thinkers. 🙂

I told him, "he cannot love me if he loves someone else." So, he said, "forget I said it."
But then , I pursued him and chased him..he still pushed me away until he can no longer distance himself.
We're 'in a relationship' now but then he's still distant and reserved most of the time.

I see this thread, and 2 duplicates. That's one way to annoy a Virgo. 😉

I just joined today too. lol If you go to your first post in the duplicate thread you want to get rid of, there is a button that says 'hide.' I'd try that. Not sure what it will do though.

Yeah, I did that for the two posts. As one person replied in my other post. Sorry, I know it's annoying. Lol

Don't know about others, but I only push/pull..temporarily disappear..hot/cold when I am FALLING in love and have to decide if I really want you. Once I'm in love and have decided that you're the one I want, it stops and I'm consistent.

OR if I keep doing that once I'm in a relationship with you (very unlikely), it might be because I don't trust you or there are things about you that I'm not really attracted to since the beginning and can't put aside. OR I've discovered something about you that turns me off and I've to decide whether to leave u or not; takes analyzing hence I need the space and will disappear for some time.

Yeah. That seems logical. We are 'In a relationship' now and he just disappears. And I feel it. I feel his distance and I guess, he's just not that into me. Maybe I should leave him alone as I don't know what to do.

You didn't tell much, so it's hard to guess why he's acting that way. How long have you not heard from him? Give him time and space for now. Virgo can disappear temporarily when facing a problem.

speaking from a taurus female dated a virgo for 2.5 years.. my guy never ONCE disappeared from my life... his communication with me was very very consistent.. we broke up because he isn't 100% sure he wants a LONG term relationship with me..so i put my foot down and call it quit.... its been way too consistent and too amazing from my point of view..he's such a practical person that i can imagine him as an amazing husband...so if he doesn't feel the same i thought it will never work...now few weeks onwards.. i started liking this new taurus man of mine....told him last night.. he was deeply hurt. !! still kept calling and calling not wanting me to see this new man... now he's gone quiet.....
Maybe mine was never inlove with me in the first place ! i doubt that alot after seeing so many of these posts ! mine never been hot and cold...! ? maybe its his venus in libra.. not so sure

Taurus and Virgo are very compatible as they are both Earth signs. There could be a lot I understanding between you two compared to for example, an Aries like me, which is a fire sign.
We tend to clash as we move in a fast pace and Virgos tend to move slowly and think things over first.
I know Virgos are good husbands and father as well that is when he finally puts his wall down.

You are lucky if he's able to open up to you and keeps his communication open. That means he already trusts you and is comfortable with you. Yeah, maybe he's still thinking about it , settling down, I mean. As I know, they decide on things really slow as they are thinkers. They think about things for a long time as they are very realistic.
