Posted by starwarsI do a lot of mentoring, and we were having dinner last night. I shared a story about one of the teens I was working with. He said the teen was showing off, and exaggerating about his successful father who's a businessman. Virguy doesn't even know this teen. It was just...odd and super negative about someone he doesn't even know. Then he said mentoring is "over-rated" which is what pissed me off as that's one of my jobs and work that I'm passionate about.
explain negative?
do you mean like grumpy? if so then stop trying to control him and the way he express his moodiness let him be grumpy, dont make a big deal out of it
Posted by AndalusiaUsually, no ad hoc committee at all, as I'm too blunt in general. This Virguy friend said I'm not very affectionate, so what does that tell you..coming from a Virgo? 🙂
How often is an ad hoc committee approval needed for you to feel comfortable voicing your own feelings? :/
Serious question.
Posted by WeedsI stay pissed when it's personal.
Sag still pissed? Not normal.
Posted by adikted0916Hope there will be better energy for you all!
Just tell him. Though it'll help if you can remain calm while you say what you've got to say. If he has already apologized to you, then he probably realized what he did or said wrong.
But if you really want to make him regret it and learn from it, give hime the cold shoulder for 1 to 2 days. That always works on me. Haha
And yeah, I can probably relate to him. I've been in a roller coaster for the past few days. Been quite overthinking things and been so pessimistic as well. Though, it also feels like a better energy is coming our way.

Posted by SunMoonStarsWell, we Virgos usually don't apologize unless we've thought it through and realized that we did fault.
Update - It's obvious he knows that it was a stupid thing to say, so I'll let it go.

He said something very dumb last night, and has apologized. However, I'm still pissed off.
We're working together today bleh, I'm not going to let it affect my work, but how do I make it known that it wasn't cool and he shouldn't do stupid shit like that again?
