What made you post/not post your real pic?

I think it's only fair that since I created the thread, I go first:
Have not posted my real pic because I am terrified of making every guy in here fall in love with me and then all of the rest of the ladies would have no one to pay attention to them. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, on the real...It's more for security reasons. I've seen some horrible things happen to people who post their pic online and I'm just a scaredy cat when it comes to that stuff. Would like to, have come close to it many times but then my mind always tells me no. Not to mention, there are some real life stalkers on these sites.

I don't post a full pic because I feel vulnerable doing so. I guess because you're not really anonymous anymore if you post your pic. I know a lot of people and I live in a big city and I know that you can run into people at the most unexpected and out-of-the-way places, so it's the same with the internet. Ordinarily it wouldn't matter, but I tend to communicate here in intricate detail. It's just the way I'm wired so I'm taking a precaution against that.

That's cool. To each his own and you're cute so it's no biggie. Love the red hair btw. Funny you should mention not being able to see what peeps look like driving you crazy because I already have a vision of what everyone looks like (don't we always do that in our heads until we actually see the person...if ever) but I am sure that if I were to see everyone in person, they would not look at all the way I envision. It's always like that.
