A lot of dbz fans would agree with you.
I like Gohan actually. I understand his motives. He doesn't have the same fighting heart like Goku or Vegeta. I guess the circumstances could've been different and maybe ChiChi is the one to blame (forcing him to study and try to have a "normal" life).
