What does "negativity" mean 2 u?

What does "negativity" mean 2 u?

This is actually kind of tough. I honestly thought I instantly had the answer, but realize its a lot tougher then it seems. I don't view something negative as something that's bad in all cases. I view it as something that's on the opposite side of the spectrum of something else. Some could call something thats bad or destructive as negative, but in almost every case of the universe destruction or entropy is not negative. The idea of darkness and the end is not negative at all. Its rather necessary for the creation of everything as we know it. So wouldn't that make it positive? I personally look as the word negative as something that is deeply needed for everything else on the opposite side of it to even have the ability to exist in the first place.
