Someone who has their Moon in Aquarius in their birth chart, is a person who is quite independent and detached emotionally from others. They may prefer not to show any emotional vulnerability because it might detract from their standing in the eyes of their peers.

Instead, they put on a brave face and prefer to keep others at arm's length. A typical Aquarius Moon would be lovable, but also very detached and unwilling to commit deeper feelings for fear of being hurt or rejected by friends or loved one's later down the line. 

The upside is that an Aquarius Moon can become a very dependable friend as time goes on because they will work hard to prove their competence with you over time but never sacrifice themselves emotionally for it.
