i'm gonna go read that pisces girl's book.
tbh i'm not really that surprised that a cap woman would be so strict to the point of abusive. my cap gran was the same with my younger brother minus the starving (she thinks slapping, spanking, binding him with duct tape acceptable tho). but physical punishment is more acceptable where i'm from 🤷🤷 i'm personally against it and could never with my own child, having seen how terrible my brother turned out.
it's interesting too that the pisces girl described the punishments shifting from physical to psychological when jodi entered their life (i think she's either gemini or cancer coz i think she was born somewhere in june).click to expand

It creates pressure and emotional control without any boundaries. They get resentful when people dont reciprocate their emotional labor. yeah she slapped me around a bit too but i was never too hurt coz to me, i've never done anything so terrible for it to be logical like it needs to make sense to me why you're hitting me to feel bad about it coz i'd sigh sometimes when she orders me to do certain things. sighing gets you slapped coz she thinks it's sarcastic (she is a libra moon if that means anything in recognizing passive aggression in others maybe). but when i was smaller, i did cry coz she'd slap me around while teaching me math.
but my brother got the brunt of it coz he was a loud crier, unlike my quiet self. used to tell him to cry quietly so he doesn't get punished even more but he's double water so--- that just won't happen.
i think she was traumatized too (raised by an anxious mom who used her kids to raise each other and was very paranoid about safety) and she had my dad at like 15.
i did date a cap sun/pisces moon in the past and though he wasn't consistently physically abusive (mostly just emotionally so), he did almost break my wrist when we broke up.
