Which you have? orb 1.5°-2° max

Can you explain how they manifest?

"Close or exact aspects in our natal charts indicate patterns of thinking, feeling or acting which are so natural to us that they often operate without our conscious awareness, sometimes defying our belief in our freedom to direct our planetary energies."

"Aspects with larger orbs are usually dynamics of our personalities that are most obvious to us, while others in our lives may notice the energies of our closer aspects more than we do. This is because close aspects are very subjective and habitual. They are so much a part of us that we may not pay much attention to the personality dynamics that they represent. With experience and increased self-awareness (as well as feedback from others), we come more in touch with these instinctive facets of our personalities. "

"Deeply embedded in the personality, usually beyond conscious memory, and therefore operates within our psyche in an unconscious way - moving us to act in ways beyond our control. These behaviors are determinant of our destiny."

How would you order these aspects from most to least important and why..

- Mercury opposite Saturn 0°

- Moon square Jupiter 1°

- Mars trine Sun 2°

- Sun conjunct Venus 1°

Sun and Venus are in Leo and in the 5th house. Mars is in Aries and in the 1st house. Moon is in Cancer and in the 5th house. Jupiter is in Libra in the 8th house. Cancer Mercury conjuncts the IC and Saggitarius Saturn conjuncts the MC.

Not a real chart, actually this chart shouldn't exist but it was the first thing that came to my head 😅

Sun Quincunx Mars 0°06

Venus Sextile Uranus 0°31

Mercury Trine Saturn 1°34

Moon Quincunx Venus 2°21

Moon Square Uranus 2°52

I excluded ascendant aspects. Also tight orbs between generational planets as they do not apply to me only.

I only use the 7 traditional planets for this, although minor hard aspects could be important within a pattern. I do consider quincunxes but the Moon/Venus here is too wide. Still, have you read about them and did you agree with what you read? maybe you found there is no huge difference between them and the descriptions of common aspects despite being in aversion. I think many like to bring up the fact the quincunx (150°) falls right between the trine (120°) and the opposition (180°) to remember is not so bad of an aspect, but is pretty symbolic to fall 6 or 8 houses away from another object, and since those houses are not commonly beneficial they imply the existence of irrational fears, phobias, obsessions, illnessess... thus the usual weirdness of the aspect.

https://www.plutoschild.com/books/quincunxes/

Anyway, requesting the same. Are of those planets at home? in angular houses? Do they have a bigger effect than the other important influences in your chart (domicile planets)? do you feel aspects with wider orb more (read the quotes if you haven't)?

Same as the others, can you elaborate on those aspects between Sun, Venus, Jupiter and Saturn? Any planet at home? in an angular house? does it override other important influence in the chart (domicile planets that are no part of the configuration)? do you feel aspects with wider orb more?

Seems like you have a pattern there, do you also have a Sun/Venus semisextile?

To quickly see the likely dominant influence, just check which is the planet with the most essential dignity (if domicile or angular especially).

I also wonder what is the common rate for these exact/close aspects, most seem to have a few. Just like retrogrades, it seems unusual to have none or many. You have 5 or so, which would be high. Do you have something to add to the idea they are connected to fateful events? is there some element of compulsiveness to these aspects? has there been a suddenness to the events in your life, particularly related to relationships, values, interests and financial matters as Venus is the planet receiving squares?

i don’t know anything about angular houses, domicile planets, retrogrades all that stuff lol i’ll look them up when i have time.

i did look up sun trine jupiter last night though.

it explained why i seem to stay jolly come hell or high water lol 😅i pretty much just “wing” most events in life yet somehow land on my feet 😂 (i take calculated risks though). and i definitely live by that whole “do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” i try not to hurt anyone needlessly.

maybe that attracts the “good luck” or whatever that this placement is associated with? i dunno.

luck definitely got me through a lot of situations. but i believe you can create luck as well through your actions and mindset too.

as far as fateful events, i’m generally way too impatient to wait around for fate being an aries sun and all lol 😂 but i’ve probably had a few close brushes with death so the fact that i’m still here is obviously due to fate/luck. and i don’t take that for granted.

venus square saturn just makes me kinda rigid/stoic in love but i’ve avoided many heartbreaks due to this rigidity believe it or not. i don’t do one night stands, casual flings etc i think they’re a waste of my time. i approach relationships like a sniper, not like a machine gunner if that makes sense lol 😂 set my eyes on the most high potential target, everything else is just noise lol (happily married now despite having this doom and gloom placement). hopefully marriage lasts lol 😂

sun sextile saturn just makes me act in responsible ways for the most part in my day to day life. i deliver on promises. i do what needs to be done.

with jupiter opposite saturn , i tend to go back and forth between being optimistic and pessimistic but my optimism usually wins out.

as far as orb width, i don’t really feel orbs that are wider than 5-6 degrees. i can feel the ones that are under 4 degrees more intensely.

If your Venus is in Taurus and Saturn in Aquarius they would both be domicile and therefore be the biggest astrological influences.

Jupiter oppositions has a fame for all that changeability, they can be found in charts of people with manic/depressive moods. But for all those extreme cases I would imagine the see-saw nature of the opposition is likely to lack an anchor, but in your chart both aspect Venus and the Sun in a tight aspect pattern so they act as support.

Venus/Saturn aspects can be actually pretty good for marriage when in air signs or when they are in mutual reception, so basically signs in which Venus and/or Saturn has essential dignity, as long as nothing else is disrupting it harshly either (like Mars). A conjunction or trine would be most favourable, the opp and square can indicate delays in venusian areas. Jupiter involvement here can imply more than one marriage.

Venus square Jupiter is seen as a squanderer, a philanderer, someone who is self-indulgent, so for this not to be the case (I don't know if when younger you had your excesses or these are traits that appear but in an unconventional and harmless way) one could argue this is due to Venus square Saturn being the most powerful aspect by orb and sign (?), but I don't really believe one aspect compensates for the other, so it could be the square has been transmuted.

"An aspect, after all, is an energy link; once such a link occurs in a chart, the two planets in connection can be expressed in a multitude of ways and still be true to their basic nature.

A square, once we have learned to translate it into effective action, can bring the benefits of a trine; an opposition, once understood, can result in the synthesizing blend and focus of a conjunction; even a trine can be infused with the motivation of the square once we develop the awareness and the desire to transmute its energies."

And then there is also the idea that exact aspects are forcing you to do just that like a constant reminder, so they can be solved quicker than those with wider orbs as they would promote awareness.

I don't know if you can speak of an important cognitive transition happening here, if you were at some point more inclined to be logical and analytical and there was an emphasis in developing a worldview or philosophy, maybe also more anxious due to all the internal thinking, and so you were less likely to express your emotions and not give focus to your feelings? Because Saturn would initially hinder Venus expression and is possible that by following your head and all the universal truths you may have absorbed, rather than how you really feel inside about something, you made mistakes along the way that were the catalyst for this transition.

I'm also curious if you have noticed if people close to you (partner, friends, relatives...) have one or more planets near the degrees of this pattern? Or maybe they have similar aspects (like Venus in trine to Jupiter and Saturn) which would allegedly strengthen compatibility? I'm not really learned in synastry but the idea of "pattern completion" makes sense to me from a mathematical/geometrical standpoint, that is if you have an exact or near exact t-square (or what some would called a t-wedge if you include the Sun), someone else may aspect this helping to redirect its energies further.

I read this about quincunx and it feels true to me:

https://www.astrogle.com/astrology/meaning-of-the-quincunx-or-inconjunct-aspects-in-astrology.html

With the quincunx, it can be difficult to merge the energies of the planets involved. But the difference here is that there is a sense that the two cannot be merged, and this is where compartmentalization comes into play. The areas of life described by the planets tend to conflict with each other not in as overt a way as is commonly seen with a square or opposition, but the individual separates them either consciously or unconsciously. This is why adjustment is associated with the quincunx both planets/points represent distinct needs and areas of life, and it can take a lot of energy to sort them into different compartments!

Looking at my tightest orbs:

Sun in 11th house quincunx mars in 6th house

I feel like when I am satisfying what my sun wants, I am not always satisfying what my mars wants.

Venus at end of 9th house sextile Uranus in 7th house: The ability to get along with–and accept–people from all walks of life as friends is strong with this position. These people can readily see through insincerity in others. In relationships, tolerance is the most important “ingredient” to these people.

I find this fitting

Mercury in 10th house trine Saturn in 6th house

Mental discipline and focus. I am disciplined and patient in achieving my goals

I notice quincunxes more now that I used to since working on the correlation with MBTI/jungian functions, I found they appear to fit the main idea I got from working with charts with the usual major aspects, and thus my conclusion is that there is a connection. For example, I correlated Sun in aspect to Mars with extraverted sensing (Se), which doesn't mean it will be used predominantly or even that someone will be in the Se/Ni axis as the other axis (Ne/Si) can figure more strongly as the whole chart needs to be seen.

But even when you think about signs in quincunx is not really difficult to find similarities between them, there was a book I read in which the astrologer (I think it was Schulman) connected these signs in quincunx to lessons you were supposed to absorb, and so placements in Pisces have to learn to integrate confidence, noblenness, harmony, fairness... for example. When there is a quincunx already in place, there is a greater chance for some strange union between them to take place, but this will also depend if there are other aspects to it. If the quincunx is working alone, then it will lack relevant support and thus the tools to succeed in that regard so another way to do this would be through connections. If there is a quincunx in Aries/Virgo, then Aqua or Scorpio could help this union with a yod formation. Another possible aspect pattern would be the one with the quincunx, square and trine (not sure if it has a name).

Not many astrologers has wrote about quincunx aspects in their cookbooks but I think I have a file somewhere with them. I only have this one from Hamaker (who also wrote a book on yods):

Sun/Mars

"The inconjunct between the Sun and Mars enters the unconscious realm more deeply than the other aspects do; therefore it is more awkward to handle. As with the square and the opposition, the conscious attitude is out of phase with actual performance, but in the case of the inconjunct the natives have little awareness of the fact. Initially, they don't know the cause for the inner unrest and aggression or for the tension they project. However, they can become extremely irritated and may fly into a rage without a good reason.

As with all Sun / Mars aspects, these people have considerable will power and a desire to please themselves. However, the snag with this aspect is that it is often hard do tell what they really do want because nothing they undertake gives rest or satisfaction. Neither are they aware of how much they try to ram their opinions down other people's throats until others become resentful.

Because the nature of the aspect makes it so hard to comprehend or come to terms with the interaction of the planets, there is a chance that people with the aspect shall become overexcited internally. This can affect the health, and the fact that the aspect is between the Sun and Mars adds the risk of accidents. A good safety valve for this conflict (as for other Sun / Mars conflicts) are sports that use up plenty of physical energy, but anything that helps let off steam is good."

Moon/Venus

"The inconjunct between two planets so influential on the emotions makes our emotions very uncertain. Not infrequently, with this aspect, we have an almost insatiable longing for warmth from the environment; more than anything else, we would like to be appreciated, and we feel very insecure when this does not seem to be the case. We are continually walking on tiptoe so as not to disturb others; and we spoil our own prospects by doing so. Our willingness to compromise in this respect is far too great.

The behavior that makes us feel safe (Moon) is so alien to the behavior we adopt in our contacts with others (Venus) that we fail to comprehend these different sides of ourselves, and we are happy with neither. We are plagued by feelings of not being able to function emotionally or in our contacts, and this gives rise to a sense of inferiority. Our mostly half-conscious agitation is with us whenever we have to deal with people; and it undermines us in all our contacts, try as we will to hide it behind a friendly and obliging front.

But if we learn to accept the existence of these two completely dissimilar needs, each of which is trying to assert itself, we shall lose much of our insecurity and shall be able to use the inconjunct in a calmer and more creative manner. What we should realize is that, by refusing every now and then to take things lying down, we do not immediately forfeit all affection from others but, on the contrary, can gain respect."

Moon is in 1st and Jupiter is in 12th house. Neither are at home, Jupiter is in Aqua and Moon in Aries. Yeah, I can definitelly feel this aspect strongly but can't say it's much more powerful than some other placements. I would need to explore each aspect separately to make some conclusion of which I feel strongest. I've always paid more attention to planets in house placements than to aspects because there is a lot of them so I never really dedicated so much time to exploring them, I just check them when I find some particularly interesting and I've always looked more into aspects in synastry than my own chart

I recommend checking dispositor trees if you haven't..

But reading aspects in synastry is more complicated than in natal. And realistically to do a good synastry reading, you need to be able to have a good grasp of natal astrology. You can have well aspected planets in synastry implying easeness, but the very same planets can be under tension natally.. so you need to be looking not just at the synastry but also at both natal charts. That's the added difficulty that comes with overlaying charts.

Some people think aspects are the way to go, because you have tropical, sidereal, whole houses... and so those placements you are used to are not likely to be the same under another system, but the relationships between the planets stay the same. I don't really suscribe to that but Saturn aspecting harshly what appears to be the most powerful placement in someone's chart is going to keep it from fully expressing itself (at least initially), so there are aspects that can drastically change the game within a chart imo

I'm not really learned in synastry but the idea of "pattern completion" makes sense to me from a mathematical/geometrical standpoint, that is if you have an exact or near exact t-square (or what some would called a t-wedge if you include the Sun), someone else may aspect this helping to redirect its energies further.

yes, venus in taurus, saturn in aquarius.

i used to have manic/depressive moods when i was younger but i eventually learned to snap out of it in my mid twenties after realizing that being depressed is one of the most unproductive things in the world and i hate remaining stagnant while life just passes you by. you feel like you’re missing out. i realized early on that no one is coming to save our asses but us.

you’re correct about more than one marriage 😂 this is my second marriage 😂 i was with the first person from age 15 to 22, current person from age 23 to now. it’s been many years.

you’re also correct about venus square jupiter making one excessive/indulgent and a squanderer lol 😂 i can be needlessly extra/excessive with my affections towards people (i love spoiling the people i care about). i sometimes even annoy them becuz i baby them too much 😅

as far as finances go, i seem to have that “there’s more where that came from” mentality 😂 i feel like i can just make money even if i spend it lol not a squanderer though. i spend money on things i find worthwhile/meaningful.

i also have a sweet tooth that i cannot seem to shake 😂 so i can be indulgent with sweets but not too indulgent to the point that i will allow myself to become fat/obese. i’m in really good shape. (i workout everyday). self control and self regulation aren’t an issue for me due to my saturn aspects.

i googled venus square Jupiter and found out that it’s apparently commonly seen in the chart of cheaters/philanderers like you said. fortunately though i’ve never had that issue. i can’t bring myself to hurt anyone like that.

never had an affair/cheated.

but then if i’m a hundred percent honest with myself, i had a bit of a wandering eye towards the very end of my last marriage. i was already kinda eyeing the person i’m with now. i never physically cheated but i guess eyeing someone counts as emotional cheating ?

Not proud of it. 😔

also yes, i have venus/saturn , sun/saturn, mars/saturn etc in synastry with the people closest to me (best friends, spouse, father, uncle etc)

thank you for taking the time out to share your vast knowledge with us like this. i’m learning a lot and really appreciate it 🙂

Yeah, you need 1 more planet for each of your quincunxes to turn into a yod. For example if you were to have Venus in Aquarius 15° in quincunx to a Moon in Virgo 15°, then Aries 15° (in which the focal planet would be the Moon) and Cancer 15° (in which the focal planet would be Venus) would be sensitive points for the formation of that yod. A planet in Taurus 15° would square this Venus and trine this Moon forming another pattern that may be just as tense and productive as the yod.

There is synastry for this, and I'm not speaking of romantic relationships but any affiliation you can think of. A pattern would elevate the urgency within these quincunxes to drive them to a conclusion. Progressions to these empty spots would also be helpful.

I found other interpretations..

Sun inconjunct Mars

You have a rather strong will, which may be difficult to control. This is because your way of doing something tends to interfere with what you want to gain by doing it. Your actions in some situations may surprise people by contradicting what they have learned about you as a person. Inside of yourself, you may even begin to feel that you can't approve of the way you act, or you may feel you can't deal comfortably with the result of your actions. In other words, you get yourself into real jams.

The only real cure for these problems is to think before you act. Most of them come about because you act impulsively and hastily out of anger and frustration. Such actions will usually work against you, not because those impulses are wrong, but because they don't work out as you expect. Your angry style is different from your usual style of acting, when you are more in control of yourself.

If you can learn to handle this problem, you can gain quite a bit of power over your life, because you are able to attack problems and situations in two rather different ways. When one approach cannot solve it, the other may be able to. Any connection between the Sun and Mars helps you stand up and assert yourself. You can fight successfully, but only if you learn to control your energies.

However, it is not good for you to hold your angry feelings in. When you feel angry or resentful, your feelings are quite strong, and if you hold them in, they can turn into sickness or infection. In some cases your feelings can become self-destructive and bring about an accident. If you can focus your anger, express it and let it go, you will never remain angry for very long.

Moon inconjunct Venus

You need to be loved, even more than most people, particularly by your mother or another woman who takes the place of your mother. This need for love will be the force behind many of your actions. If you don't find the love you are looking for, you will develop an insecure hunger for love from everyone you meet. However, you may express this in very strange ways, such as a desire for food, especially sweets, which unconsciously represent love to you.

There is also the danger that if you spend so much time and effort trying to get what you need, you will not be able to give love to others. Thus this aspect can mean that you indulge yourself and expect others to do everything for you. Of course, if people think that you are looking at things this way, they will not be inclined to help you. That will drive you to seek love even more and make the pattern even stronger.

On the other hand, if you are given all of the love you need while you are young, that is, if you are loved totally for yourself as you are, you will develop confidence in that love. Then you will be able to love others, and the more love you give to others, the more you will get in return. However, there is a catch. You cannot give love solely because you expect to get it back, for people sense this and are put off by it.

Sun/Mars

The inconjunct from the Sun to Mars indicates that there is an element of strain in everything you try to do. You are enthusiastic, energetic, and eager to demonstrate your skills, but you seem to offer your services to the wrong people. Disappointment is likely when you find out that your efforts are unappreciated. You seem to be on the prowl for problems to contaminate your life, and you don't lack for them. You want to win the approval of everybody you meet and be remembered for all the favors you have done for them. Although you are more than competent by anyone's standards, you are not personally sure of it. The only way you can be convinced is by enduring the abuses of those who are less competent. You specialize in using all your physical resources well, so that you can be regarded as someone of obvious worth. When people bargain for your skills and are willing to pay for your expert abilities, you are finally convinced of your worth. Then you can afford to be selective.

Your talents can be applied in many diverse fields. You could be a diagnostician, medical researcher, industrial researcher, or physical therapist, or have a trade, such as a carpenter, mason, or plumber. You would be well paid for your work, because you would do it as though it were for yourself. You don't put your name on any product that doesn't meet with your full approval. Although you may not gain the recognition you deserve, except in your immediate environment, it doesn't matter to you because you are more interested in doing a good job.

You have to be on the lookout for people who will exploit you and try to cash in on your ideas. You are vulnerable to such people because you are so generous in displaying your talents. On the other hand, be mindful of your tendency to use people's ignorance as a device for selling serives to them that they may not need.

You underestimate your ability to win the affection of the person you are attracted to. Anyone who is realistic would know that you don't carelessly or insincerely toss your feelings toward someone. You are more than dependable and can fully justify yourself, even to the most demanding critic.

Moon/Venus

The Moon inconjunct Venus shows that you have a low opinion of your personal needs and give a greater priority to persons whom you feel obligated to. Your indulgence of them makes it seem that you are buying their approval. You feel you must make every concession possible in order to be come free from continued obligation to anyone but yourself. The only problem here is that this process goes on and on. Your reaction to people is unbalanced and illogical. If you can detach yourself from emotional considerations, you will be able to logically decide how far your obligations go and to what extent you should expect others to make concessions to you.

Unless you do this, you will be drained of all your physical resources and will be emotionally impoverished as well. You play into the hands of people who are on the prowl for individuals like yourself who seem determined to been slaved. You need to develop greater self-respect in order to earn the respect of the people you deal with. No one can take advantage of you unless you give them permission.

Submission is hardly cooperation. You must insist on discussing your obligations and their limits before you take on any responsibility. Your desire to please and to give everyone the benefit of the doubt can obscure your judgment of what is right and wrong in a situation. Ample proof of this will be demonstrated as you function in your job. Watch out for attempts by co-workers to use your kindly nature to give you more work and relieve them of certain duties. If you don't speak up, they may take advantage of you.

The problems cited above concerning employment also apply to your emotional affairs. You seem to attract indivuals who always want you to prove your love. Again, try to evaluate why this should be necessary and suggest instead that the person first demonstrate sincere interest and affection for you.

Don't lend money or anything else to anyone. Your chances of recovering it are slim. Their attitude is that you can afford it, and you won't miss it anyway. In performing services for others, learn to put a price on what you do. This is why you should not volunteer your time. Most people will assume that when you offer to do something for them it is a gift. If you're going to make gifts, do so to satisfy your own desires.

Leaving aside the excesses, Venus/Jupiter can also have that fame because they succeed at public relations and can easily adquire social popularity. They will meet people and they are likely to be liked which will increment the chances for them to stray. Being realistic, attractions can arise at any moment while committed which doesn't mean one will act on them. You can look (respectfully) but not touch as they say, fantasize (because no one has to found out what is in your head) and keep staying loyal to your principle (not hurting people). Not sure about that been cheating, everyone has their own threshold for this. I would say for many the action of looking is normal and natural, and no one should assume you are doing so lustily, one can simply admire physical beauty as they do a painting or sculpture without sexual feelings being a part of it.

My tightest aspect is moon conjunct Jupiter in the 12th house at 0 degree orb

I think you’re right that it’s unnoticeable because I don’t really know how it works for me. I think it’s just what keeps me unconsciously always hopeful even when I feel at my worst. I feel like it’s actually quite annoying and frustrating than good actually lol

Jupiter is the 2nd dominant planet in my chart, closely tied with Neptune.

Jupiter also conjuncts my chart ruler (Uranus) also in the 12th house.

2nd tightest is mars trine Neptune within 1 degree orb

This one I’m really not sure how it plays out

If Jupiter isn't the leading planet in your chart (neither Moon nor Jupiter is at home), then it would take a step back.

But in short Jupiter brings lots of restlessness to the mind (Moon) and as an extension to the emotions. Conjunctions are hard aspects. This one is intuitive and sensitive to the environment which makes it socially aware and very sympathetic, is the sort of placements that makes one feel the weight of the suffering of the world on their shoulders with all the good and bad that brings. Some of the issues of the hard aspects can be found like excess of emotions, dogmatism, self-importance, overdosing on food or any sort of drug, etc.

The 12th house can be interesting here. Most of what is written about it is negative due to his aversion to the ASC, is hidden from view. I think you have to see the whole axis to attempt to understand it better. For example the connection to health (or the lack of it) and service to others due to that aversion to the 1st house (the self).

yeah i tend to have high standards for how i should behave😔i have a hard time forgiving myself for things most people wouldn’t really make a big deal out of.

i’ll try loosening up a bit. thank you. 🥺🙏

and yeah i’m gonna try and stay on the right path regardless of all the temptations and noise out there. i wanna look in the mirror and feel proud of myself. i can’t feel proud if i’m moving in a funny or grimey way. i don’t wanna be the reason for anyone’s sorrow..
