what is your mars and do you believe in work or grace?

i'm a struggler (worker) but when i can almost touch it, i feel like i don't want it anymore. but with things that RAIN down on me, i always want more. unexpected, surprising BLESSINGS i always prefer. then i look at my Libra mars 1H and it explains everything. ultimately, i believe in grace. a man is more excited to spot a coin on the street than to get his paycheck.

been seriously ill lately so i decided to stay in my gran's place for a while coz old places comfort me. there's a Leo housekeeper there and we were alone. everybody was out and we were having lunch. told her something about my personal life and in return, she told me she's having an affair with another man. her husband is paralyzed and can barely even sit in bed. she's a woman in her 50s so i imagine he must be just as old. i'm shocked coz she's been with him for years, took care of him and it's not like there's a child to bind them together anymore. he died some years ago in a vehicular accident. it's duty that makes her stay and maybe old affections.

in the middle of all that, she tells me that 'ugly men only get greedy when a beautiful woman falls on their lap coz they think what great luck i have but how much LUCKIER can i get?' (i assume she's talking about herself coz.... Leo). but this made me think about how most people don't appreciate things that LAND on their laps. BUT people take care of what they've worked for instead.

but i've never been like that. whenever i get the money i work for, i always spend it however coz i can work for it AGAIN. but LUCK, things that come EASY and FREELY i've always liked more. like the curry SHE made tastes better than the curry i'll make coz i didn't sweat over it. it's good to me coz somebody else made it for me. somebody else thought about it, thinking of me. i'll take better care of things given to me than the ones i got for myself.

then i thought about religion and how i'm probably more 'religious' in spirit if i'm right about this. most faiths are based on the belief in grace. god's FAVOR, god's BLESSING, BOON from heaven like the religious aren't much different from a gambler, waiting for that LUCKY strike.

Yeah people don’t appreciate

But coincidences are blessing

My beach rental fell on my lap n I am thankful everyday because I know how hard it is to get such great deal

I’m not into the working hard to make a peg hole fit into a square I tried n tried but it just nearly killed me so I release that false belief system

I want easy after hardships

i can get so stubborn, struggling and fighting but grace always felt better than me sweating for it

nice to know it's not just me

I'm all about that hard grind. If I'm not working, then I'm spending money. Spending money = no money, thus all the hard work was worthless. But having a ton of money and not spending it is also worthless. Lately I've been getting more of a thrill watching my bank account grow though. Setting a small amount I can spend, and saving almost all of it. Lately when I haven't been working I've been bored af. Ever since my breakup work became a sanctuary. At work I can be extremely creative and physical, which is a really constructive outlet for me. That on top of my dieting and exercise has lost me 40 pounds in the last year. So I consider work better and more fulfilling then grace for me personally.

i respect the grind.

used to hate the idea of grace. always thought how worthless all the grinding would be if it just rained favors randomly. i felt bitter and resentful. but everybody works, not only for money but for the sense of productivity. it's just this commonplace thing. then grace touches you once at some moment you desperately needed it and it feels otherworldly- magical. and i felt a surge of faith. in what? i don't know. maybe it's coz i'm so sick that every little grace feels like magic now.

i've always been generous with the things i've worked for. but i'm almost irrationally territorial with 'objects of grace.' like these pair of earrings my dad got me when i was a kid. i'd let anybody take/borrow anything from me but i'm so selfish with those. if i had bought them like i did my other jewelry then the devil can have them but that was not an object i earned but something out of grace which i favor.

If I didnt grind I doubt I'd have any luck.

not just talking about luck or gifts though. referring to people too. people you've chased vs people who've 'graced' you. and a Leo taught me about this too. there was this Leo girl who cried about her boyfriend going cold on her. this is typical but she explains exactly why she's so heartbroken and why other hurts can't possibly compare to this one. she said he came to her first. he was the initiator. you hold so much power when you're the chaser. you can discard the other much easier than they could you. it's harder for them coz they've been 'graced.'

and then there's regret when you recognize grace too late.

come to think of it, grind/pain/struggle is a great teacher. that's true enough but it can't tell you much about someone. everyone fears loss for themselves or those they love. even the ones instrumental to that loss. all just methods of preservation. they fear for themselves as much as the next man. if anything, it's the thing that doesn't set you apart from anybody. a sob story is commonplace. in biblical traditions, when the first people were cast out from 'grace,' they had to toil/work/grind/suffer. it's a tale as old as time.

what you really need to look at is someone's ego. look at the things that they're proud of. this is the other great teacher. you'll know more about someone for what they celebrate, what they truly value for themselves. it's not a coincidence that ego is self-identification coz it IS an introduction. a slight to someone's ego is an opportunity for an introduction. it is a way for you to discover someone's true identity. look at the things they consider 'grace.'

and it's no wonder to me that Leo is the sign of teachers. makes perfect sense. they've taught me a lot by accident.

I'm self employed, I have to create opportunities. I work hard to find things that could turn into an opportunity. What's funny is people will try to use you when they see what you're doing, they want a piece of that action. That's not always a bad thing, I firmly believe everyone uses others in some shape or form. it could be for for their ego, could be financially, it could be because they like the mission you're on, could be that they want to develop their skills with you for a while.. Whatever the reason they come to you, its always mutually beneficial... until it's not any longer and one side decides to continue on without you, or changes direction altogether. People outgrow things. It happens.

I've even worked in tandem with my competitors to reach a goal that we both wanted, but neither could do on our own. That's rough to consider at the start, but eye opening in the process.

It's also allowed me to meet people I wouldn't have probably met otherwise, which later turned into other mutual opportunities.

When I first started in business for myself everyone was a means to an end because I had to get this thing going, there was no other choice.. But as it got going, and I could turn money down, that's when I started to realize there's all these opportunities between first meeting someone and parting ways, eventually. And when I say parting ways I mean no hard feelings and no shady shit, I'll try to make people's lives hell if there's shady shit involved.

What I meant by my first comment was all the luck that I've had was directly due to the work that I've done. The people who wanted in on the action they saw at the time. It's a learning cycle between people that brings the most luck, for me.

You can even get lucky by having haters. The old saying "no publicity is bad publicity" is true. Especially when your haters have haters.

in using other people:

there are people i've graced who turned out to be bad news for me. yes i said it, i am the grace. but the almost lack of concrete/material gains when i look back on it made me question my motives. there's not much that i gained in comparison to the price i paid (later i learned this is only half true). in every interaction, there's an exchange of currency. this currency may take different forms. and it became very hard for me to accept that i bought some copper with gold.

this is what happens when people are used/taken advantage of and they continue the interaction for a long period of time. that becomes no longer an assault to your currency but it's now about you failing to protect that currency. you should know better to guard your coins from those who've conned you before.

trust that no matter how demonized the con man is, the 'victim' is not innocent and will always carry the bigger shame. coz the trickster only takes the concrete/material but the victim took something more. often it's something the con man doesn't care much for. this brings me to the conclusion that the victim is greedy or worse- desperate.

I'm a worker- I work hard and play hard, nothing really comes between me and money. I will always choose to make money instead of spending it. I do spend it too, but I always make sure there is a steady stream coming in that's more then going out.

I like a job that is well done completely. I don't like half assing anything that has my name connected to it. It needs to be a quality product or job done, if I'm attached to it. That's my reputation and name that is involved.

My Cancer Moon is in the 10th house- I heard that makes a workaholic

Mars is in Leo in the 11th house.
