A pinch of god complex and handful of contradictio

Fellow aquas, it is said that we think we are THE G.O.A.T, not capricorn lol (eww), but THE GREATEST OF ALL TIMES and that we contradict ourselves. How true is this? Do you have a god complex? And how do you contradict yourself?

I personally agree to an extent and here's why...
1st of all I think highly of myself (dont think im a nobody), not better than Jane and definitely not below Suzy...we are all equal. But at the same time I think Suzy and Jane aren't on my level. Whatever "level" that is. Let me give you an example- we all date, breakup and move on, right? For some reason I always seem to think that in the lives of my exes no girl (dont care if she is Miss Universe) will ever be as awesome as me, they'll bore him etc. I guess that could be classified as having a god complex or whatever.
2ndly, I already mentioned that "all is equal" blah blah blah, but there are times like when I'm explaining something so obvious (TO ME) to someone else and they dont get it immediately... this voice in my head always screams "what an idiot!". Same thing with fashion, twitter & facebook (and other mindless networking sites), everybody who follows them is an idiot in my mind, but HERE i am in this site and its not that much different from being a fashion junkie, the only difference is that i cant wear astrology and its not as mind-numbing as facebook. Ok im done lol. Your turn...

Well whenever my cousin can't fix the wifi I think he's stupid and I scream idiot in my head. I also hate how some people in friendships think thy own me. I'm thinking I'm only here because I like you guys for now I can leave whenever I choose I don't need you guys as friends. As shallow as that sounds I left my Leo close friend of 13 years in a blink of an eye. He befriended the one group of people I dislike and moved in with them. I couldn't do it one of them was the only kid in my life outside of sports that I punched in the face.

The answer to your question though I don't feel like god complex is the way I feel about me and fellow aquas. It's more like Demi god among humans. 😉

Lol aqualad. Non-aquas are the ones who say we have a GC. Haters! Whatever it is if it has the word god i'll take it and they better worship lol.

I have observed that many Aquas have a God complex but, it goes with my Aries warrior style so it doesn't really bother me. I can take it or leave it. 🙂

One subject topics and threads can get boring pretty fast so lets turn this to an all things aquarian thread. Let compare notes. Like if you have "a thing" and wonders if its aqua related you can post it here and get a yay or nay from other aquarians. Its our month, baby... lets get stupid! My Awkwa does have a God complex...but I always play the devil's advocate. 🙂

Im going to assume I have this only because for most people unless they get to know me..... I somehow come across as stuck and arrogant like I know everything. Like today for instance I had to restrain myself from making some guy look like a fool because he was bragging he could do all his calculus with trigonometry but his teacher would not let him which is why he dropped the course or w/e he was saying which is total bs and I know it because I've taken about 5 calc classes. This guy would never have suspected someone in that business class to have so he thought he could go all day on that train. WELL I guess he did technically I was 'good' and kept my mouth shut -_-
To tell you the truth that dude and the other one who sits next to him have gotten on my nerves in that business law class from day one.

i do have a god complex but thats because im surrounded by primordial ooze I would not have to think so highly of myself if everyone else around me were so ignorant......I'm the only one i know that can think of many different solutions to any problem at any time...ive got what i like to call TBTPS its a condition of mine... Thousand Brilliant Thoughts Per Second 😆......the only contradicion of mine is that i cant think for myself....and I do my best thinking when I'm depressed

Oh boy yes I do, just a touch. I dont go around telling folks how smart or great i am, people already know it lol. Honestly I do process information a little faster than most. Maybe the fact emotion isnt in the equation when i process info, makes the process faster. Add in the famous aqua love for humanity and ablity to read people, who is better than us. 🙂

back to what you were saying about explaining something to people clearly and they dont get it frustrates you I'm exactly the same way...What infuriates me is people who explain shit in a very complicated way like my boss and her daughter always have to explain stuff to each other like they are in a counselling session..."yes i acknowledge that and it adheres, but i feel"....etc etc. yes that is how they talk I always walk away from their conversations feeling like potato....also I hate textbooks and the fuckers who write them....like ive seen a lot of textbooks and I think to myself....who the fuck writes this shit?! do they want kids to learn this shit?......
what I'm getting at is i cant stand ppl who make life difficult for other ppl in really stupid unnecessary ways.....
I hated school but i never let it interfere with my education I left in yr 9.....I was not dumb I loved english.....was the better actor and artist than anyone in my year but still came last because I didn't do theory in drama and art. even the kids in my class said I should have come first....it was only 2 years later when i left i found the mathematics text book in my bag and just started to read it from the start just out of curiosity and now im really good so I turned out to be my own best teacher....I was so bad at mathematics the second someone would try to teach me my mind would shut off...when i was in primary school I could not understand the concept of times tables....like five times five...when the fuck do we ever say anything like that at that age?....If they said to me five, five times I would have got it straight away. But it was homework time that set things in stone for me when i could not get maths questions right my mum used to scream at me and call me stupid until i cried. True story and still to this day I cant understand why someone who is an educator herself can turn something so negative for her own son so I came up with my own conclusion/......shes full of shit.... the whole school system is full of shit and so is society.....turns out I was right 🙂
I think thats what aquarians are like....we can see shit for what it truly is and we learn things our own way anyone can read a fucking book and repeating whats been said does not make u smart.....its interpreting information thats really clever I think to me...

I also realized that if I follow the exact directions of something ie. a manual, i cant get it right. But if i do it by myself without any outside help i usually get it right on one go. Like, i can look at a new appliance or w/e and emmediately know how to operate/connect it without checking any book. Its like i just KNOW what to do, its creepy.

Lisa, I asked A QUESTION based on whats said by people all over the net about aquas and gave MY OWN views about it (so did others). Never said ALL aquas felt like that and good if you dont. It being a joke or not is really irrelevant, but you can laugh if it appeals to your humor. I personally am not insecure, i feel great about myself, dont need assurance and see nothing wrong with feeling how i feel about myself. Im not gonna be apologetic for feeling good because i didnt get to feel like that by putting anybody down. Basically, take the topic how you wanna take it and if it doesnt resonate with you oh well, but you dont need to take jabs just because we gave our honest opinions. You are starting to annoy me to be honest with you.

I have an Aqua Rising/Sun relative who was treated like the "Don" of the family. Family and friends would be intimidated by him. Or, fear confronting him. Many didn't trust him and it seemed he dismissed some of their lack of trust because they weren't "on his level". When he rolled into town, the red carpet would be swept in in for him. To challenge him could mean you were ostracized. For awhile, if he was upset with a relative he expected you to ignore and disassociate, as well. He had much self-importance.

I didn't see him that way. Even though he was my "elder", I openly disagreed/challenged/confronted him. When he tried to "persuade" me with his manner of thinking/seeing a situation, if it didn't feel right- I respectfully disagreed. Once, I had to outright tell him that he crossed a line and put him back in his place. I don't know that he is accustomed to that.
Yet, I am one of the people in the family he respects the most. That is on "his level". That he admires. I'm not intimidated by his wealth or self-importance because I don't see it as diminishing to mine. And, I recognize that just because he sees me on "his level" or thinks highly of me- that doesn't mean I return the same feelings!

He's no GOD to me because I don't worship him. In my Aqua experience, as long as you have your own inner self-confidence and the ability to detach when you find their manner unbecoming, they actually come around to YOU! Lol.

Ok no I dont think aquas have a "God complex"
I view the word god complex as someone who is arrogant, thinks too much of themselves. I prefer when people are more stable and balanced and not biased about being just one extreme thing.
For example someone who is very confident and wouldnt settle for just about anything YET down to earth and wouldnt put himself in a better place than others (cuz who knows u cant really say im better than my ex;s girls cuz u dont know them so u cant judge them)
Know that ur worth a lot but dont let it drive u to think that others r "IDIOTS" like someone has mentioned earlier just cuz they r bit slow to understand something u already understand. Maybe ur not explaining it in a clear way??
We r all good in something but NOT in everything.

I knew an aqua who wouldnt stop telling me "i love u" and he wouldnt stop chasing me till I completely deleted him (so that doesnt make him a God complex at all)
Its got nothing to do with ur horoscope i just guess its a personality thing. Some are too full of themselves and others r too down to earth and others r just IN BETWEEN/BALANCED/STABLE >> which is what i prefer the most.

Dont get OFFENDED aquas but how can u have a god complex when ur the first to flee an argument or a confession u dont like?? U r known to disappear and prevent arguments..A god tends to b known for his strength and ability to FACE any PROBLEM even if he really doesnt like it.

One more thing i wanted to make clear..about the part u mentioned facebook (network sites) as something mindless or wutever..
U really shouldnt think that..its how people use those sites. For example i used facebook all the time for university connections/family/friends..
also it keeps u up to date with world news/hobbies/games/careers/traveling..etc. Just cuz some ppl use them in a silly blah blah way doesnt make them mindless..
My mother used to think that but as soon as she created an account she completely changed her mind about facebook. U shud try that too 🙂

Seems even other aquas cant always catch the famous aquarian sarcastic humor. After all the dr phil stuff we do and the overall aqua bashing posts after posts we endure. I enjoyed having a laugh at this thread. Even though it was all true stuff anyways. We are great people, powerful personalities, and the world would be a better place if there were more of us. 🙂
