Confused !!!

So there is this guy that i like who is an Aquarius. We have known each other for a while and I'm not sure if he is interested. We talk/text all day except for when he doesn't answer for hours... but he recently opened my text (he has his read receipts on) and didn't answer me. Which is very weird and unsual. Before he didn't answer, we were having an awesome conversation about life and our expectations. He normally doesn't open my text and not respond so I'm curious to why he would do this.

Side note:he sometimes flirts with me by complimenting my beauty and brains. But has never explicitly said "i like you or want to be with you." In all honesty his personality PERFECTLY fits an Aquarius and it's crazy how accurate it is.

I know i didn't do anything to make him mad bc of our pervious texts he sent in the conversation.

So does anyone have an idea why he would randomly stop reply during a great conversation and after complimenting me—

I was really worried bc i like him a lot and I've messed it up in the past by continually texting him and getting mad because he wouldn't respond to my text but when we were together he would literally be all over me and he even said i love you to me and after he said it he was so shocked like he didn't mean for it to come out. But this was a while ago. I am a Taurus/Aries cusp. He normally texts back but it takes him a while. But this time around I'm giving him his space and not pressuring him into anything which is hard, but I'm still not sure if he likes me. He always compliments me, sends me cute emojis like kissing faces, even when the conversation is about to die he will try to ask questions. But the reason i think he doesn't like me is because he hasn't said it yet. I don't know if he wants to be friends or what. Please help he's so confusing. Last night i told him i care a lot about him and he didn't say it back but instead said i like that u care bout me and sent me a kissing emoji. Is he sending signals?

Every girl's mistake when dealing with Aqua. Something slipped out when he wasn't ready for what that might mean to his independence. Now you "aren't sure how he feels" because he isn't all over you anymore.

Now he's waiting to see how you're going to react to this. He knows he likes you but he didn’t really want you to know how much or right then. He may or may not LOVE you, or he's pulling back because he didn't want to be that vulnerable at that moment. Do NOT question anything, absolutely do not cling or give any impression that you want him to go there again. Keep being friends, let all of that slide, and if he did mean it, he'll eventually tell you (or show you).

Aquas never say things they don't mean, but feelings are fluid and timing can be a bitch.

Lol. Stop it. Things are really simple. If a man is really interested he will ask you out on a date not become your text buddy/penpal.

He’s gassing you up for whatever reason but trust it means nothing. He’s blowing hot air up your ass.

Don’t ever chase a man, ie telling him you care about him, calling or texting. You are the prize. Don’t spend too much time texting or talking unless he has invested a certain about of dates and time. Keep your boundaries strong. Let me him prove himself worthy of your time. Men like things of value, if you’re too easy, then you’re deemed invaluable.

So frustrating bc i rather just ask what he wants. I hate all these mixed signals.. but I'm not trying to push him away if he does like me....
