Ok so it's not astrology related per se but...since the aqua board gets the most hits I thouoght I'd slip my query here. Ok so I'll make it snappy and to the point:
I have a cafetiera that was working great up until a few months ago. Oh by the way it looks like this:
Anyway now it hardly produces any espresso coffee and what liquid does spout up out of its nozzle tastes and smells like burnt over stewed coffee. What is the reaosn for this? I've cleaned everything out fo nothing is blocked. I'm wondering is it the sieve part of the mechanism where you put the ground coffee beofre screwing the top container part over it and putting it on the stove. The rim of this is ever so slightly warped so it's not perfectly fitting into the bottom compartment of the cafetiera that holds the water.
Are there any coffee gurus out there who might be able to shed some light on this dilemma?
Aguaaqi I hafta say I think your diagnosis is pretty much right. I just didn't want it to be true cos I like my cafetiera and I don't wanna face the fact that it's now a dud cafetiera. Yeah you're right caca coffee is most definitely not delicioso. It's a Biglietti cafetiera which is like the best quality brand of cafetiera in Italy (and they know how to make good coffee). So I think I'm gonna look into getting another sieve part for it. Otherwise I'll just hang it on my wall as an ornament like one of those stuffed animal heads that some people have a thing for.
