3 main reasons.

1. I've been broke and homeless at varying intervals throughout my teenage years, so typical Aquarius jobs like journeyman and starving artist musician don't attract me, I need financial and emotional stability.

2. My Moon is in Leo, my Mercury, Jupiter and Neptune are all in Capricorn, and my Venus is in Pisces, so I have a need to be prideful of my practical career and financial resources, and I need a woman who has the stability to take on my weaknesses, and trade them back to me as strengths.

3. My mind is already vast enough, and my hobbies and social life is already quirky enough, all my friends are quirky, so I need that one woman in my life who is calm and sensual, so I can wind down when I'm at home.

Answer? I went out and found a sexy, smart, sensual Capricorn who's worth every single bit of my time, but only needs just enough of it.

I suggest you do the same.

@Aquamermaid yes, I actually recently went back and did a short compatibility test comparing myself with every female I have ever talked to romantically (and some I haven't) it turns out that my most compatible females are Capricorns especially when they are older than me. The girl I'm involved with now is a Cap Sun/Cancer Moon, and I know this other Cap girl who used to come in my dorm room a few months ago who used to annoy me that I am actually highly compatible with (but that now hates me due to some drama SHE got herself into, that I helped her settle).

Another Capricorn girl added me on Facebook the other day who is very impressive that added me to talk to me about a new project I'm spearheading at my university, our conversation flowed like water, and when I looked her up we're compatible.

I know this question was for Aqua guys but I think it applies to both genders if they have heavy earth and water dominant chart.I have Jupiter and Neptune in Capricorn as well and a Cancer moon. Both look for security and stability.I think I am weird and quirky enough and sometimes I get stuck in my head.I need a partner who can give me reality check time to time and keep me grounded. My spouse is Scorpio Sun/Cap Moon and I couldn't have found any better combination.I genuinely feel that Capricorn makes an awesome match for earth/water mix Aquarians. There can only be one crazy in a relationship, I prefer that to be me 😛

Awww that is soooo sweet.

Eyyyy this is so true. I'm dating an earthy Sag guy—Capricorn Venus & Mars. It's working! Despite all the semisextiles. Scorpio moon & asc too, super stable + intense.

Like said earlier. I want to be the free & spontaneous one. It would be way too much if with someone who was the same. I don't want to be grounded necessarily but it's just kinda a yin/yang thing ya know.

I think we are the only sign who can handle your independence and understands the need for space. We value those things as well.
I kinda agree, I feel like Capricorn is really just an extension of Aquarius just a little less free. I feel like Aquarius is just a Capricorn that grew wings and can fly. There are actually a lot of commonalities between the two.
