awwwww, my son just told me that he isn't himself and i said what do you mean by that and he said i'm not myself, i'm who everyone wants me to be. I adore my aqua boy, he is so smart, funny and at times he can say the kindest things.....its like he has a very old soul. But, i worry about him because he is so "unique" and not everyone gets him and i know he can see this hence the comment he made. Isn't that very insightful for a nine year old? What was childhood like for you aquas? My husband is also aqua, but he was born on jan 20th so he is aqua/cap cusp. My husband had a rough childhood as an aqua;( Just curious of your experiences.

o wow ur son does sound very smart. for a kid to make a remark like that IS insightful 🙂 growing up, i felt out of place even though i had friends. i had a troubled childhood/adolescence growing up. i personally think he probably feels he has to act a certain way with his classmates in a way thats untrue to him. ive done things i didnt want to do to please my friends.

it's true aquas r supposed to be independent, rebellious, opinionated, etc. but all those wonderful traits develop with age and life experiences. when we're young (and that goes for everyone), we're all susceptible to following the "status quo". i didn't feel independent and "truly me" until after high school. but for your son to recognize that feeling at such an early age is very remarkable.

im not a parent so idk how influential my advice is, but i would just recommend being an ear n doing wut ur doing now. listening to wut he has to say and just encouraging him always. b/c u cant change his enviornment in school, his classmates, n the way everyone acts. but the reiteration of uniqueness being okay is sumthing i wish my parents wud have dun. having that kind of support and someone giving me that kind of inspiration and motivation probably wud hav made me find "myself" earlier 🙂

good luck n hope everything works out!

thank you for sharing your experience Aquarius21!! I am so proud of my son, we adopted him at the age of 3 1/2 and he had alot of sensory issues. The sensory issues affected him so that at 3 1/2 when he came home to us he was not speaking either english or the language of his homeland which was spanish. With the correct pt, ot and alot of hard work, he has excelled so much, that at times it almost seems unbelievable. Just last week he did a report in front of his class on the grand canyon and received a 98% . I truly believe the fact that he is an aqua accounts for why he has been able to "catch" up to where he should be academically at the age of nine😉.......he is so bright!! I think the fact that i am taurus/gem cusp and have a gem moon accounts for why he and i get along so well....and probably why i embrace the fact that he is unique😉
