You guys don't care to be adored much. Do you?

I don't know too many Aries people personally, but the ones I know are always fun to be around. One Aries that is interested in me always compliments me or tries to say something to spark an emotional conversation. Although I have similar feelings for him, I never know how to respond, because talking about "feelings" always makes me feel awkward. A couple of times I've tried to say genuine things back, but it doesn't seem like he enjoys it. Personally, I like a feeling to feel reciprocal, but it is hard when one is not too accepting. Maybe, we are too much alike in that area. We both like to do the sweeping, but don't like to be swept? Haha. Both Aquarius and Aries are masculine signs. Does anyone else seem to have this type of problem?

Well it's not that we don't like compliments or to be adored but we like it to be genuine. Maybe he didn't think what you said was genuine. What did you tell him?

Hmmmm...very true xtina. We are all about being real and meaningful and having others return it back to us. I think some of us are even a little jaded when it comes to that. At times, it can be hard for me to accept compliments because I've been burned in the past by fake people just trying to get in my good graces. But, I really can appreciate it when it's true and real.
I would give it time and see where this goes. Don't stop being yourself...we can really appreciate that!

i'm kinda confused lol. would you prefer if you were the one initiating the emotional convos?

Lol, no! Sorry for the confusion. I enjoy it when there is a good balance of giving and receiving. It just seems in our case, the both of us feel uncomfortable receiving. At least I feel that way, because talking about feelings makes me feel a bit awkward. I was just curious if it is typical for an Aries to feel awkward too? It seems that he is all about sweeping me off my feet, but then when I say something sweet to him, he pushes back.

Passive aggressive behavior...this can happen when we get confused about a situation or person.

I can relate to this, I have an Aries moon and "ooey gooey feelings" really are not my thing either. My feelings usually come out through actions. For me, I am a bit uncomfortable recieving.......I like to give and watch my parters reaction, that will pretty much tell me if I am doing the right thing. Like you, I also enjoy a comfortable balance between giving and recieving. I don't enjoy being overwhelmed, but I do appreciate sincerety. I have numerous Aqua companions in my life and I can understand how akward it is expressing how you feel towards someone verbally. From my experiences with Aquas, I don't really focus on a romantic relationship with them.....we just enjoy each others company and have fun 🙂
