Does anyone else have this placement?

If anyone knows anything about chiron in the 8th, I've read in a couple places that people with chiron in the 8th shouldn't 'give their power away to a master'. What does that even mean? I have chiron in the 8th and I have no idea what it means. All I can think of is that we have the ability to see things others can't and can give that away by accident? I really don't know.

The 8th house is complex. Let's look at a few other houses first, the 4th is your inner world, home, family, roots, deep subconscious. When a planet transits your 4th you might retreat, like in a cocoon. The 10 house is the opposite, the highest point in the chart. It's your highest calling, your career, your reputation.
1st is who you are in public.
7th is opposite, it's who you are in marriage or friendship or partnership.

The 8th house is like the 4th house, but in public. It's your intimate thoughts, your control on life, but in the hands of other people. It's the most anxiety-causing one there is.
2nd house, the opposite, is about your possessions, self worth, everything's slow, calm, reassuring.

You can teach others not to give away their power, as chiron is the wounded healer.
