Meaning of Mars in the 12th House in Astrology

Mars in the 12th house indicates a private, secretive energy focused on inner struggles and subconscious drives. It can cause frustration related to privacy and hidden conflicts, especially with Scorpio Mars's intense nature. Understanding this placement helps manage emotional reactions and develop healthier ways to express your assertiveness.

Does anyone else have this? It's frustrating. I need to do things in secret and when I feel someone violate my privacy, I get very upset. It doesn't help that it's a Scorpio mars.

Like making business cards, or deciding to sell things, or deciding to get ahead in a topic before everyone else, or saving up for something, or the reason why you did something or why you chose something. Basically anything you did.
These are very trivial things but I have become upset over these. I'm not like that with everything, just things I feel passionate about or things that I feel like will make me truly happy and get ahead.

Yep. Mars in the 12th.

Scorpio in mars too.

I'm really possessive with the things I'm passionate about and if I don't perfect them first.....they never see the light of day.

Yes.. But I think it's like that with other scorpios, especially Scorpio moons.

Gemini Mars in 12th.

I don't know jack shit about this house placement for Mars, but I enjoy detective work. Like internet stalking 😛

Same. I recently found out where my ex from 5 years ago lives... Back then I wanted to stone his truck near his home. And I finally found it!

"Mars in the 12th House

As strange as it may seem, to you, action means behind the scenes and secrecy. The form of your action is important, as compared to what you actually do. You want no publicity on what you are doing and the reasons of your struggle!

You loathe being seen when you are on the move. You have the uncomfortable feeling that you are spied upon, and that people may judge you. Or you are afraid to displease others. You enjoy taking action in the dark. You may be dedicated to charitable causes, and it is natural to you that you must focus your energy on them.

Humanitarian works, secret settings (hospitals, prisons, convents, etc.), remote and forgotten places (charity missions operating abroad, etc.) constitute privileged settings for the expression of your capacity for action (and for devotion), that is as strong as anybody else’s, although it is marked by these quite peculiar characteristics.

Struggles may crop up in the guise of hidden pitfalls and enemies: you may have to fight in some secret ways, in order to face these dark events. It is an art which you master quickly and which enables you to triumph over adversity, more often than not"

Mars in the 12th House

Sample from the KidZone report: This child has Mars in the 12th House, which is not an easy placement for Mars. The energy can be stifled in this house. These children may often be afraid to assert themselves. They can feel defeated before they start, convinced that making any efforts to be seen, or heard, would be futile. The child could express this by being tired all the time. This attitude may have resulted from being with people who have not encouraged him or her very much. Somehow the self-confidence needs to be built and the courage instilled to disregard anyone that tries to inflict negativity.

These children tend to work in secret and to act behind people's backs. They should try to avoid this. Unfortunately, this child can possibly be blamed for things for which they are not responsible, so always check the facts. A total lack of self-confidence can make him/her so afraid of direct action that the natural course is to do everything indirectly. But deep down, this can be a very strong little person. He or she will just need to get over these hang-ups. Or the child will need to be fortunate enough that someone recognizes early to start building up that confidence. Many athletes and surgeons have this placement.

These children can work very well on their own, as they do not need supervision. They just do not need anyone to discourage them or to put them down. As they mature, these kids will come to believe in themselves naturally. The child with Mars in the twelfth House has a tendency to "think" about what they want to do, rather than just getting on and doing it. This can cause some frustration. These youngsters "know" but they are reluctant to push themselves, or their efforts, or their ideas. Again, this is a lack of confidence.
The sensitivities in this child can run deep through to the psychic nature of things. He/she is likely to have very vivid dreams. These youngsters will stand firm on principles, but may not openly express or explain where the ideas are coming from. He/she can find it easier to project an attitude or a mood to make a point rather than openly express the true feelings within.

I need to talk about it regarding transits.

Currently transit Mars in Scorpio is traversing my 12th house.
Since yesterday I've been negatively surprised why tMoon in my favorite Aries does work little.
Why was I self-critical, self-sabotaging and lazy in a place where I needed to work hard.
Then I remembered this aspect.

Now if I can fight against it or weaken it at least, I'll let you know.

I've found alone time and driving alone to be therapeutic. I would sometimes set up rules in my head such as stop smoothly when I drive, and I would feel a little satisfied or in control when I do. It gives me a little motivation when I get back into the real world.
