Aries is the first of the Zodiac Symbols. It is a fire sign and those born under this sign are deemed to be active, outgoing and generally adventurous. The ruling planet is Mars and the sign is associated with a Ram. In Greek mythology, in order to escape Ino, the ram carried Phrixux and Helle to the city of Colchis. Upon reaching the Colchis, Phrixux offered the ram as sacrificed and hung its fleece in Ares. The fleece turned to gold and it was the same fleece that Jason and the Argonauts sought.

The constellation Aries is known in Egyptian, Babylonian and Greek cultures. The Ram is associated with Force, Power, Energy, Drive, Protection, Virility, and Fearlessness.

An Aries is generous, independent, enthusiastic, optimistic, courageous, honest and highly energetic. In spite of all these seemingly extroverted characteristics, an Aries-born person is quite naïve. He is too trusting for his own good. He would be one of the first ones to be lured into a Ponzi scheme or be the first one to donate to a bogus charitable institution.

Aries are hard workers and are mostly “doers” rather than “talkers”. They are creative and powerful thinkers and are possessed with a pioneering spirit. They thrive for adventure and see the world as their Shangri-La. However, Aries-born persons tend to be short of patience as they want everything done fast and painless. They tend to have mood swings and are often impulsive, selfish, short-tempered, aggressive, forceful and combative. The Geminis are known to be loquacious and in their professional lives have the talent for giving talks and speeches and are usually talented and good writers. They are one of the signs that are incessantly talked about, either positively or negatively. They are a talented lot but are often misunderstood.

Geminis are clever and energetic. They are highly adaptable and are kind of witty and imaginative. They cherish their freedom and independence and are continually seeking for change. They are highly open-minded, curious and very entertaining. They could be the life of the party should they feel up to it. They are very opinionated and clever with words. Their weak points are their impulsiveness and indecisiveness. They also tend to be restless and have difficulty staying put. Cancer is the fourth of the Zodiac signs. It is a water sign and ruled by the Moon. In Greek mythology, Hera sent a crab to fight and defeat Hercules while he was fighting with Hydra. In Greek mythology, Ganymede (Aquarius) was a beautiful boy chosen by Zeus himself to be the cupbearer of the Greek gods. Some mythologists say that the boy was so beautiful that even Zeus fell in love with the young boy.

We are now in the Dawn of Age of Aquarius. The sign is deemed to be the “leader” of all the Zodiac signs, according to astrologers. Aquarians are unusual and quite mysterious. They are often ruled by the non-conformist and highly innovative Uranus. They are quite eccentric and often they are perceived as marching to the beat of their drum. Yes I think it matches very well. There's the whole unemotional thing which I'm not fond of. I prefer when they say we're more logical.

I also like Chiron in the mythos, though his end isn't the greatest.
