I'm a huge sports nut, so I got curious and started looking up some Famous Pro Athletes and their Birthdays to see which sign they were. After searching through most of the famous/well-known athletes of the past and present, I came to the conclusion that the sign that has the Greatest Pro Athletes was Aquarius

Check out this list of Athletes who were Born under the sign "Aquarius"...

Michael Jordan
Babe Ruth
Hank Aaron
Jackie Robinson
Jim Brown
Wayne Gretzky
Bill Russell
Hakeem Olajuwon
Lawrence Taylor
Jack Nicklaus
Mark Spitz
Greg Louganis
Randy Moss
Steve Nash
Oscar De La Hoya

So you've got the Greatest Basketball, Baseball, Hockey (and arguably Football) Player of All-Time under Aquarius. That's insane.

I noticed that Capricorn also had some Great Athletes (most of who are still actively playing today), such as...

Muhammad Ali
Tiger Woods
Lebron James
Dwyane Wade
Joe Frazier
George Foreman
Eli Manning

Hmm, what is it though about Aquarius that makes them so damn good at Sports?

I've also noticed great sports skills among SOME Aquarius people (and people with Aquarius Mars). My theory is that air is quick-moving, unbounded and thus transcends physical boundaries. Always thought it was cute that "His Airness" was an air sign.

Really, I've seen great athletes of every sign. They play differently and use skills related to their modality/element.

P.S. You'd better add Chris Paul to that List of Cappies. Capricorns have amazing work ethic.

Chris Paul the basketball player? I think he's a Taurus.

Drew Brees
Laila Ali
Bernard Hopkins
Julius Peppers
Ndamukong Suh

Are also some Cappies to add to the list.

I enjoyed watching Matthew Stafford(Aqua) this year. I've noticed that not only are Aquas athletic, but they have a certain finesse, which separates them from the rest. It's what Micheal Jordan had when he played and it makes it interesting to watch.

Oscar de la hoya was not a "great" boxer he lost all his big fights.

Aquarius shines in team sports but in individual sports is very poor. Kimbo slice, Oscar de la hoya, Victor Ortiz. Many of the famous " quitters" in boxing are aquarians. That is because aquarius is in detriment placed in the sun.

Lebron james lacks killer instinct, he has mars in pisces and that seriously affects him adversely.

Muhammed Ali would " nap" in fights and not push the envelope ( mars in taurus)

Michael Jordon has his MArs in Leo so that made up for much of his Aquarius, as well as a fire moon.

Best for pure athleticism is a Mars in Capricorn, Mars in Aries, Mars in Sagittarius, Mars Leo. Moon in water or fire.

Best for guile, craftiness, good hands, composure under pressure, Mars in the air signs and Mars Virgo. moon in air sign.

Willpower- Mars- Sun, fearlessness, Mars- Jupiter, Charisma Sun-Jupiter

regardless of his mars placement, Lebron is still the best player in the NBA right now..im not even a lebron fan but even i will admit that much..plus i think that his mars in pisces is the reason why he's also good with assists as well as scoring and rebounding..he's not a complete ball hog like kobe

and lol

Mars in the fifth house is supposed to be a big placement for athletes. Especially if Mars in Aries (exalted).

Really? I have Mars in Capricorn (exalted) in the 5th house, but am not competitive enough to be particularly athletic. Then again, my natal Mars is retrograde, which is supposed to make me hate competition. I do like to push myself to the limit when I exercise, though. I like to do cardio to the point where I'm in immense pain and can't breathe. lol

Capricorn, huh? I'm betting you'd be a fab long-distance runner or endurance-sport athlete 🙂

The Pisces Effect - Kenneth Mitchell ~ Since the Olympics began in 1896, piscean swimming medallists receive about 30% more medals than expected by chance. Interesting read/high analysis, too on other zodiac signs & Olympians.
