So I've read about how natal mercury retrograde was a sign of a late bloomer and odd thinking/learning (and with Chiron in my third house...yikes, I'm unintelligible unless I speak English which is my second language). However, with my Gemini rising, Mercury is my chart ruler and it's retrograde in Scorpio.
What does the fact that it's my chart ruler affect the retrograde-ness of Mercury? Does it make it even harder to express my Mercurian side?
