Posted by tizianiWhy do you prefer the composite over synastry?
I'd say the latter definition is synastry. But I don't know about Davison.
I prefer composite and I stay away from synastry.

Posted by tizianiWhere would you see, that you attract a certain type of relationship in the chart? I could use some self evaluation these days.Posted by clippityclopIt's safer. It has less influence over a relationship and it gives answers for why someone would be repeatedly attracted to a certain type of relationship rather than a specific person, so it's easier for them to see where they can work on their side of things.Posted by tizianiWhy do you prefer the composite over synastry?

Posted by tizianiPosted by TaurusinTexasTake your chart, and all your exes/affairs - draw up a composite with each of them, and if you see the same planetary pattern then you have something there. Otherwise it can be a smaller pattern, like a common aspect or common planet in a sign or house that keeps popping up.Posted by tizianiWhere would you see, that you attract a certain type of relationship in the chart? But which chart do you prefer?
I think I've resonated a lot more with the Davison, myself.
I've also read somewhere that some astrologers view composites as the kind of shell of a relationship, like how other people percieve it... and the Davison as what's going on personally between the two people.
What do you think?
