Do mutable types appreciate being following along rather than leading?

I've been trying to see things from other's perspectives recently and it has helped in my interactions with different elements. I have a new Libra and a new Cancer friend, and I've also been practicing this on a Cancer acquaintance, a Cancer long term friend, and a Cancer father of mine, and it just seems that cardinal signs naturally want to lead, and feel off-put if they aren't given that opportunity to lead. It's not a conscious thing, and I noticed as an Aries I really want to lead and direct, and I do that from a passionate, explosive sense, which in my eyes - before I recognized it - was just seen as being optimistic and exciting to others, but now I see all the areas where I come off wrong. Anyway, since I realized that Cardinals have this desire to lead their interactions, conversations, activities with others, I will put down the reign a lot and let them lead the topic and be more open to their side of communication, and it works well! If they begin to slow down or lose momentum, I'll tug at the reign for a moment, bring up a topic or something, and then they're right back at it again. I noticed fixed signs are so much more easily approached in this regard, in that they don't care if you're leading or following, just recognize that they are independent in a sense and that they may listen to you but they are still independent.

I don't know about mutable signs though. Mutable signs, I have a question: do you appreciate it when someone leads in a conversation or activity, or comes up with plans, etc, and you follow along with that and make additions where you can?

Sag here! I wouldn't say that I like following someone necessarily. I like it when others come across as more of a teammate than someone directly in 'charge'...I don't know if this is a Sag thing or just myself personally. I appreciate friends who can come up with ideas sometimes and who can sit back and let me make the plans - or lack thereof because I like being more spontaneous. 🙂 As far as conversations, someone who can bounce ideas back and forth and have their own ideas that build off of my own thoughts and opinions is what I like. I don't like things feeling too one-sided. There have been many times that I've wandered off and done my own thing if they aren't into it or aren't on my level.

Yeah I don't mind someone else making the plans but I'd rather drive myself in case I need to make a quick getaway.

Well it all depends on what's being discussed, what the activity is, and/or where we're going. If I'm not feeling it, they will definitely know. ‰

Most of the time I enjoy when others will make plans because I don't tend to have anything I really want to do. But, in group situations rather than one-on-one, I tend to dislike the decisions people make. Perhaps that's because I have a lot less input in group situations since it's hard to get my voice/opinion heard when I do have one.
Basically I usually don't like making decisions due to lack of an opinion on something, but when I do have an opinion I get really frustrated if it's ignored.
In conversation, I like a more equal standing. I start some topics, you start some topics.

Mutable types always seem to be followers, except for maybe Sagittarius because it's a Fire sign.

I don't want to deal with social interactions so I like to let some people lead the rest of the people and I do my on things on the side.
